He performed reduction mammoplasty (breast reduction) on me when I lived in Tennessee. He did an acceptable job, so I have no problem recommending him to someone else. I would say that with this type of surgery, you need to do adequate research and be well-prepared with questions. Always get a second opinion for plastic surgery - whether it is voluntary or necessary. In this particular field, you are looking at not only at the medical knowledge but also the ability to provide a good "look". Second opinions are excellent for that in looking at work performed and how it was done. I do have some issues with my surgery since that time - the entire nipple was removed (no ability to breastfeed, very numb), lots of scar tissue (i took all precautions), nipple too large (he chose the size). Many of those are also my fault for not being more informed and a stronger advocate for myself. He left them larger than I desired, but I support his decision in that it's always easier to take off more than have to implant later because too much was taken away.
