If you appreciate honest answers to your questions, then Dr. Finkler is definitely the doctor for you. I was diagnosed with an Atypical Complex Hyperplasia of the Endometrium after a D&C and was referred to a Gynecologic Oncologist, Dr. Finkler. He was friendly and attentive. I was immediately put at ease. With all of my questions answered and full confidence in Dr. Finkler, I scheduled my total abdominal hysterectomy for the very next morning. At the hospital, Dr. Finkler made sure to come see me before surgery and answer any last minute questions I or my family had. After surgery, he again made sure to come see me. Most of the time you never see your doctor during your hospital stay. This was not the case with Dr. Finkler. I saw him each morning during my stay. Ten days after surgery (on a Saturday), I visited the ER for a slight infection around my staples. After leaving the ER, I called Dr. Finkler's answering service to let him know what happened and to ask what I should do next. He called me back within 5 minutes; he was happy to talk to me and was, as usual, very reassuring.

I would never wish this kind of medical issue on anyone, but if you find yourself in need of a gynecologic oncologist, then Dr. Finkler is the first doctor you should call.

I was introduced to Dr. Finkler because the Dr. that was recommended to me was out. Thank You God. This man is a saint and a wonderful Dr. I had been to several Doctors after my hysterectomy for cervical cancer because of pain in my side. I was told basically I was crazy. He found the problem with my ovary and continued to take great care of me and my sister till he left Boston. There is no other so dedicated to taking care of the patient. We miss you still.
Don't hesitate to trust him. If needed I would travel to Florida to be treated by him.

Dr. Finkler is a gynecologic oncologist. I was referred to him by my gynecologist because of a suspicious cyst on my ovary. He recommended a total hysterectory because he found additional reasons for concern when he reviewed my records.

I was fortunate that I did not have cancer, but if I did, I would want Dr. Finkler to treat me.

In addition to being an excellent physician, with the very best training, he is very friendly and open with his patients.

I highly recommend him.

DR. FINKLER HAS BEEN GREAT TO ME, BEFORE AND AFTER MY HYSTERECTOMY. I WILL REFFER HIM TO OTHERS ANYTIME, YES HE IS A BUSY DR. BUT HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING..

He is an excellent gyn onc. surgeon. Taught by the best, he skillfully goes places others would not dare to make sure he gets as much of the tumor as possible while checking for metastises throughout your body. He is so optimistic, always smiling and hi fiving you when u see him. Extremely knowledgable. His staff is rude and uncaring. I found it is because he has so many patients that they are pissed they have to work so hard and long hours. It's unfortunate, but hard to get around. The staff works for the hospital and isa provided by the hospital. During my surgery the people who took care of me said they cater to his patients as they want to make him happy so he doesn't go msomewhere else. But after surgery ,in recovery I was subjected to the same lousy help. I am leaving as of today as I cannot take that hospital anymore. But if my cancer should return in the gyn area, I will run back to him.
