Dr. Marvel is a very caring man. He helps to get to the bottom of your problem by listening and taking time to ask important questions. As you arrive at a diagnosis he takes the time to explain your problem clearly and makes you aware of all of your treatment options. Very good bedside manner. After several years of being misdiagnosed and my pain not taken seriously I finally got referred to Dr. Marvel by a previous surgeon that respected his opinon. His office was a lifesaver for me. The compassion of his staff in regards to pain and pain management was refreshing! Then we moved forward to exactly what was surgically necessary. Come to find out I was full of adhesions and endometriosis as well as post-ablation syndrome. Dr. Marvel was a godsend for me and explained everything to me so that I understood what was going on with my body and what I could do to help myself until surgery was performed. I can't say enough for he and his staff! They are very personable and the Doctor has a very good bedside manner. They truly do care when you are feeling so much pain and don't know where to turn. I would highly recommend their care.

I am 25 years old I have been seeing Dr. Marvel for a couple of years now. I have been coming to him for bad pelvic pain. Dr. Marvel does whatever it is needed to get you better. With my age Dr. Marvel did whatever he could think of or what was needed to try to relieve my pain but did end up doing a partial hystorectomy. He doesn't make decisions for you he helps you make the right decision. I will never change doctors and I would recommend Dr. Marvel for anyone.

Dr. Marvel is the 7th doctor I visited in my search to treat my chronic pelvic pain (adenomyosis, pelvic congestion, intersitial cystitis). Since coming to him, I have never even thought of seeking out a new doctor. Dr. Marvel took time to do an incredibly comprehensive interview and exam to look at all of the possible causes for my pain. He then asked what my own personal goals were for treatment and catered the treatment to what I wanted.
What you can expect from Dr. Marvel is that he will actually listen to you and will dedicate himself to your case. Although I know he runs a busy office, I always felt as though I was a high priority for him. He is up-to-date with the current research and incredibly knowledgeable. He’s upfront and will tell it like it is. His staff is also remarkable and in the several years that I’ve been his patient, the staff has remained constant, which I feel speaks highly to his character.
I have recommended Dr. Marvel to all of my friends and family that have any special urogynecological conditions and need proper care.

Dr. Marvel specializes in pelvic pain. Most classically trained doctors do not recognize the symptoms of common causes of chronic pelvic pain in women. It can be frustrating trying to get answers from regular gynecologists who suggested to me that there was really nothing that could be done. In two appointments Dr. Marvel figured out what was causing all of my pain. I wish I had found him years earlier and I would not have had to suffer for so long. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy for adenymyosis. Dr. Marvel was reassuring, understanding and never questioned the "reality" of my pain. He is very thorough and a good listener.
