I had severe scoliosis since I was eleven, was operated on when I was fifteen, in 2013, I got in so much pain I couldn't function. I was also getting humped over. He operated on me for eleven hours on April 16 2014 and then again on April 21 for seven hours and thirteen minutes....He is the best, has changed my life completely for the better, everyone compliments me on how great I look because now I am so straight, plus he really listens to everything u have to say, and always takes care of any problems, I live in Ohio and he is located in Illinois, I recommend him to everyone I know who has my problem. He is the best...He is located at Rush in Chicago Illinois, God never made a better doctor than him. His nurse Anna Thiel is wonderful to. I am now 59 years old and while I am limited to some things, such as I am not suppose to bend over due to rods and screws in my back, have to use tools to help get socks on and also sometimes for using the restroom. I will be forever greatful....God has blessed Dr DeWald with all the great attributes, he is friendly, cheerful and always shows compassion. I wish everyone who had my deformity could have him for their dr....thank u for having this sight. Dr. DeWald is the very best.
