My primary care provider, the local Navy hospital, did not have OB/GYN doctors when I needed my TAH, so I was referred to a civilian doctor. I talked to friends and family, and tried Dr. Strider. I was impressed by him from the first meeting. He was very thorough, and made everything easily understandable. He was particularly good at making my husband comfortable with the surgery, and never rushed us out of his office. He gave me all the facts, and options, and let me make decisions. I felt better knowing I had a part in those decisions.
