In the Spring of 2005 I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. Dr. Clarke-Pearson was the Gynecological Oncologist that I was referred to for a hysterectomy. His practice is based in Raleigh, NC thru Duke University Medical Center and he also sees patients at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC. "Dr. CP" and "Nurse Nancy" (Nancy Wilkinson) were very detailed in their explanation of what was going on and exactly what they wanted to do - i.e., their plan of action. My surgery was performed on May 31, 2005 (radical hysterectomy). Because of the favorable lab report, I have not had to have radiation or any follow-up other than pap smears every three months. I am very confident in their abilities and well pleased with the services performed by them and the hospital.
