Dr. West currently does only gynecological care for women, but he's the greatest in my book. He's a very gentle and compassionate doctor and explains everything in detail. He's the only dr. in at least a 50 mile radius (perhaps more) that is experienced in doing the LSH (laporascopic supracervical hysterectomy). I went to him for a second opinion when my first doctor suggested a hysterectomy. When Dr. West told me that I could have a hysterectomy as an outpatient and have minimal pain and faster recovery than the traditional hysterectomy, I wanted to know more. He has the nicest bedside manner that I've ever encountered with a gynecologist. His staff is also very helpful and friendly. Just walking into his waiting room I was greeted with a calming decor and colors. Twenty years ago I worked with him in a clinic as a medical records technician. I can say that his friendly, compassionate and trustworthy nature has not changed over the years. Knowing him as a "co-worker" and as a patient I can truly say he goes above and beyond the call of duty as a physician. I am blessed to have him as my doctor.
