Dr. Barter and his surgical team were absolutely excellent! From the first referral appointment his bedside manner was reassuring and he provided me with information of what to expect, even if he was not able to use method of surgery that I desired.
On the day of my surgery the nurse that I was assigned for my pre-op prep was so calm, pleasant and kind that I felt safe, as I was alone and afraid. Next one by one, the anesthesiologist (who I can't remember his name, but he was quite handsome) came and spoke with me and verified my prior medical procedures, etc. then came the surgical nurse and then Dr. Barter. He reminded me that although my case was difficult that he would try to do the DaVinci method, but if not it would be done with a normal cut. All I remember was praying to God that things would be well and I woke up in recovery. And yes, he was able to use the DaVinci method.
I am so thankful that I researched and was guided to use Dr. Barter, even though he is almost 60 miles away from my home area.
