He treats me for IC which he diagnosised in May 2004. I'm a strong person and this brought me to my knees. He was there with encouraging words and really help me understand and that he was there for me. He is a great listerner,comforting, friendly and always has a smile. He told me from the begining that he does not know everything and that we would learn together. Every visit we talk and try to figure out the best course of treatment to continue with. He always told me to call with any problem. He is young and has the enthusiasm to go with it. If you do well he is right there to tell you about it. He does not beat around the bush either. He tells you straight up and helps you to cope and understand. I recommend him all the time.

After years of suffering with mild intersistial cystits, and going to several different doctors, Dr. Meier was the first doctor that suggested that there was a good chance that I have IC. I commend her for recognizing my symptoms and refering me to a urologist.

Dr. Carmen is a very innovative, understanding, caring, knowledgable, and sensitive Urologist. His office and staff are one of the best I have ever encountered as a patient and feel welcome each time I enter. He took me in as a new patient just after receiving the dual interstim from another Urologist in another state. It was a very hard decision not to travel back to see my original Urologist, but I am very happy with my choice! If you are in the area and need a Urologist who is on the leading edge of technology, research, and patient satisfaction...then he should definitely be the one you call. Finding a good doctor who "takes care" of the patient with the special need for the interstim is a hard task, and I am hopeful this website will help others alleviate frustration in finding a great physician.

Dr. Eisenkop is world renowned for one of the highest cure rates for ovarian cancer due to his aggressive surgical resection of the tumors. He is an incredible surgeon. I was fortunate and did not end up having ovarian cancer, but his total hysterectomy was the best experience it could possibly be. I healed very quickly, with no complications. He is simply the best.

Dr. Rol is patient, thoughtful, and considerate. She is a good listener who is able to evaluate the patient needs and mutually negotiate a plan of care. She is cautious and able to balance treatment options including watching and waiting when appropriate. I have seen her for gyn care and recently had her for my surgeon for an abdominal hysterectomy. She was always available and open to questions. She will refer if she encounters an area where she feels a different provider would offer expertise and is not threatened by this. She does, however, appear to be continuously interested and engaged in expanding her own knowledge base (even though she has practiced for many years) in order to improve care for her patients. I've always felt comfortable and cared for in her presence.

Dr. Shibley has done nothing but wonders for us. I have had 3 previous C-Sections by him and am due for my fourth. His work and knowledge is out of this world. Both my husband and I feel that he is the right man for the job. I feel both safe and secure with his expertise- and he makes sure that you are up to par per say with what is going to happen and afterwards. I love Dr. Shibley- he is a generous man with a huge heart and understanding. If later in life I ever needed a hysterectomy he would be the one to do it. THANK YOU so MUCH for ALL that you have DONE..... I highly recommend him to all.

Dr. Jake Majors, Is the Best Dr., I've ever known. In my 46 years of Drs., 5 children and 8 gbabies later, you know there's been many thru my life.
He has been my Dr and my 3 daughters Dr for years now. Delivered 2 gbabies and he performed my Hysterectomy in Sept 06, and one of my daughters has worked in his office going on 4 years now. He is a OB-GYN Specialist for WK Pierrmont.
A Good Dr he is ! He's nice, caring, gentle, considerate, funny, humorous, very cheerful, straight forward, honest, experienced and very nice on the eyes. He's basically a Nice Man and a Wonderful Dr.
We all love em and can't say enough good things about him.
His wife is a OBGYN also and Pain Management and appears to be just as sweet as he, very nice people.

I went through a lot before having my hysterectomy, and when I finally went to Dr. Bergstrom, he was very straight forward with me. He got results back quickly and was very honest about them. I was very scared, never having surgery before, and his wonderful sense of humor and warmth made me completely comfortable. I've been through a terrible healing process, thanks to my body, and he's been there every step of the way and continues to be there for me. He's awesome! I also was treated by his partners, Dr. Graham, Dr. Becker and Dr. Kelly, all of which are very personable and professional. I would highly recommend them for problems as well as routine GYN and maternity. Excellent doctors!

I am a 26 year old, who has went thru year after year, of surgeries and medicines. Going Doctor after Doctor with no answers for what was wrong, or what to do... Finally 4 years later my Aunt, met a doctor, after searching for months, that her and my Uncle both liked very much. After several months my Aunt underwent a Hysterectomy, and has never felt better in her life. She suggested Dr. Roberts to me, and I finally decided to go see him. After finding a growth on the only ovary I had left, that was getting bigger daily. We decided to undergo one more surgery to remove that ovary. I have never in all my visit's to Doctors (and it's been alot) had a doctor take the time and have the compassion for what I was going through that doctor Roberts did. I am proud to say that he is a outstanding doctor, and his nurses and staff are equally great. I would suggest Dr. Roberts to anyone looking for a doctor in the Plano area. I drive 2 hours for my visits and it's well worth it...

I highly recommend Dr. Hinton. He is a wonderful doctor. He treats my interstitial cystits and endometriosis. I have been to many doctors in my area and he seems to have the most knowledge about IC. He is very understanding and vey compasionate. He also has a wonderful sense of humor! Which really hepls when you are sick. He always calls in my medication refills when needed.

I had surgery with Dr. Andrew Cook in late 2004. I came to him with multiple medical complaints and chronic pelvic pain that many other doctors could not diagnose or cared to investigate. Dr. Cook is the finest surgeon I have ever had (I've had surgery enough to know). He is everything you wish a doctor would be and his staff is equally as skilled. THEY BELIEVE YOU. I never once had to justify my pain. I was never told it was in my head. I was always treated with respect and care. Dr. Cook is actually interested in the complexity of your problem and wants to get to the bottom of it. I was finally correctly diagnosed. You won't get a doctor like this in managed-care. However, if you have wasted your life trying to get answers and relief from the managed-care system, I highly recommend you consider Dr. Cook. I am so much better than I ever thought was possible. I owe so much of it to Dr. Cook and his team.

Justin Durell performed a total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral oopherectomy on me in Nov. 06 and I can highly recommend his services. My incision has healed beautifully. He is also listed in St. Louis Magazines' Top Doc's. He's a truly skilled surgeon.

I strongly recommend Dr. Pilli. He specializes in Oncology and Gyn. He has a beautiful bed side manner. He answers all of your questions and does not continue until you fully understand what the treatment you will receive entails. He has a comforting way about him. He was very knowledgable about the Hysterectomy and informed me of every detail including recovery. I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. Needless to say I was scared. Dr. Pili put my fears to rest. I would tell anyone who needs a surgeon that this Dr. is one of the best that I have personally dealt with. He really cares about all of his patients. I have been operated on twice by this Dr. and I would do it all over again if I had to. So if you need a good Gyn or an oncologist and live in New York this is the Dr. to see.

I had two surgeries done and all of my follow-up check ups. Dr. Bang is a very nice doctor with good bedside manners. After I came out of surgery from having my hysterectomy, I went to my room and there some flowers waiting for me from Dr. Bang. I thought that was great coming from my doctor. I have been going to him for about eight years and I am happy to have him as my doctor. You can ask him anything about your body and he will answer them.
After going to 5 different doctors and being told that it was my age or my mind was the rason for IC Dr Perry listened, examined and said he could help. He found out the reasons for the severe pain. Perscribed treatments and told me what to expect. Four years after treatment I can honestly say I have pain I can live with, that doesn't consume my life. He is truly cheerful, comforting, friendly, trustworthy, and experienced. He stays up to date on all treatments and He believes that faith in God has a place in medicine.
I'm not sure you could improve on him or his ability to LISTEN to what the patient says. He recently took a physician as a Fellow, in the study and treatment of IC. Dr. Childs will follow in Dr. Perry's footsteps, for he too has the same qualities and desires to help IC patients.
I recomend this Dr. to all those women who have been told nothing is wrong, that pain is in their imagination, who go to the bathroom 40 times a day and know where every restroom is in the who... [More..]

Dr. Potkul is an OB/GYN who specializes in gynecologic oncology. I was referred to him after being diagnosed with endometrial cancer. I found his professional yet compassionate demeanor to be very comforting during the scary days of my illness. Throughout my treatment and subsequent surgery, he has been reassuring and attentive. He does not talk "over my head" -- he explains things in ways I can understand and takes the time to listen to my questions and concerns. I feel blessed to be treated by such a kind and caring doctor.

I was very ill with what I thought was a bladder infection, but I went to my family doctor and a urologist without getting any answer to the problem except that it was NOT an infection. Finally, I ended up in the emergency room and a doctor there recommended Dr. "Theo" who diagnosed my interstitial cystitis (IC) almost immediately upon hearing my symptoms and confirmed the diagnosis with tests. He was very warm and friendly in a professional way, and he explained the condition very thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Theo!

Dr. Echenberg specializes in female pelvic pain, and deals with many interstitial cystis patients. It's not that easy to find a specialist in this condition, and especially not one as dedicated as Dr. Echenberg.
He diagnosed me (after a nine year search for a cause for my ongoing pelvic pain) and has treated me with bladder instillations, medications, and recommending PT and counseling. He is always willing to try something new if one idea isn't working.
Dr. Echenberg gives TWO HOURS to each new patient in order to really understand where the patient is coming from, and still have time to explain what he plans to do next and why. He treats each patient like an equal and is never condescending. He is kind, gentle, and deeply caring.
Everyone in his office staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. If you are a female with ongoing pelvic pain, you can't do better than to see Dr. Echenberg. I drive 70 miles each way for him, and it is completely worth it.

Dr. Morris performed surgery to remove my left ovary and endometriosis. She is a fabulous surgeon. Very skilled in laproscopic procedures. My recovery was a breeze. Her staff is professional and thorough. I was very,very pleased with my treatment and follow-up care.
