Top notch pediatrician. I can't say enough about him and his practice. The waiting area features a well area and a sick area to keep contageous children and well visits apart to help prevent the spread of colds and flus. Bright and colorful examining rooms with murals and themed tables. An efficient office staff, and helpful nurses. He also has young children of his own and is very understanding and supportive of parents. Very gentle with children, and keeps them entertained. There is no better pediatrician in the area.

Specializing in Rheumatology, Dr. Pando is a gentle and caring Doctor. He is very thorough and attentive. He has a very well stocked office including electrotheraputic devices and array of services to help those suffering with the pain of rhuematoid arthritis and other painful ailments. He is a very soft-spoken and warm Doctor who is extremely easy to talk to. He does have a general practice. Dr Pando is the only Doctor who has been able to get me any relief for my low back pain. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Well mannered, kind and patient. Very thorough and easy to talk to. He has been my ob/gyn for 8 years and I always receive great service whether it's a routine annual or I am having a problem. Friendly staff too! Ultrasound and Mammogram on site at the Lewes location.

After I heard 2 other women in my office raving about Dr. Ahluwalia and how easy their hysterectomy's went I finally asked about him. Everything they raved about was right. He was wonderful. I have/had endometriosis and was in alot of pain alot of the time. He gave me two options, either he could excise (not burn but actually cut out) the endometriosis or hysterectomy and it was totally my choice. Because of years of surgeries to remove the endometriosis and pain I opted for hysterectomy. This guy is what I would consider the best. He pioneered laparoscopy (sp?) which made me think he would be top of the line and very knowledgeable. I was right. The surgery consisted of three teeny tiny holes (I had a TLH) and within a few days I felt that I could have gone back to work. I actually had to force myself to stay out of work 2 weeks! He made everything seem so easy. He's very caring and will listen to what you have to say. Something else that made me feel so comfortable with h... [More..]
Gregory Atwood MILLER
recommended by Deloris Berry
Dr. Miller people skills are commendable. In this growing world of assembly line appointment services, Dr. Miller never rush while attending to your medical needs and questions. His attention to detail exceeds the average medical physicians. He has been my GYN for more than 10 years and I have used him on two major surgeries. He has always demonstrated that caring, energetic, compassion, professional service that seems to be slowly disappearing from the medical community.
Thom Linwood TYLER

I had sworn I would never go to another male gynecologist. How could a man possibly know how I feel or know how to help me? When I moved to the Gainesville area, everyone I met recommended Dr. Tyler. And when I met him and his staff - WOW! What a great bunch of people! Dr. Tyler doesn't feel threatened when he discovers you do as much research as you can; he appreciates it. His specialty is menopause and HRT. I wanted to try a compounded lotion and Dr. Tyler immediately started me on a estradiol/progesterone/testosterone mixture that made me feel like I was 20 years younger. He's always willing to try something new, and he's such a good communicator you're not afraid to tell him about any problems or fears. He's so friendly and interested that it's like talking to a best friend. He also hosts regular "meetings" after hours with women interested in menopause and HRT. These are free sessions and are limited to 12 patients. They're incredibly informative. He's without a doubt ... [More..]

Dr. Shockley delivered my youngest daughter, did my exploratory surgery and ablation, and my hysterectomy. He is a wonderful man. Very professional, smart, and just an over all nice man. He is very understanding and always willing to answer questions. I would recommed him to anyone!
Stephen Eric ZIMBERG
recommended by Terri Cannici
Dr. Zimberg is my Gynocologist and my Surgeon who performed my Hysterectomy at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. He specializes in alernatives to Hysterectomy. Mine was a special case as I had a 10 pound Fybroid tumor. We explored various options together and he let me make the final and right decision with his sincere guidance and unbelievable patience. I was very scared about the procedure and by the time I was ready for surgery, he had me so relaxed and calm. Dr. Zimberg is so very caring of his patients and so kind. I highly recommend him.
Not only is she an ob/gyn, she is a surgeon and I felt that was very important in choosing her as my gyn. I did end up having surgery and MY doctor performed that surgery. Not having to go to another person - she knew me and my problems and did my hysterectomy and my follow ups. Very important, I felt.
She will talk and answer all the questions you may have.

Paul Shu-Chiang LIN
recommended by Jean Stapleton
I went to two other oncologists before him and they terrified me. They just told me what they were going to do to me and gave me no choices. Dr. Lin, at City of Hope, laid out the treatment plan but gave me choices. Previous doctors had told me that I was in the early stages of ovarian cancer, but they would give me a hysterectomy just in case. Dr. Lin agreed to do extensive biopsies and see if the cancer had spread. I felt that if it was 80-90 percent possible that it hadn't spread, I didn't want the hysterectomy. I lost the gamble, as it had spread to the uterus, so he had to go back a month later and do a hysterectomy. Again, he let me make the choice not to have a total hysterectomy. It's been six years and I am fine. He is a dedicated doctor who would come to visit me at 7 a.m. and come by again at 7 p.m. when I was in the hospital. He also fought my insurance for me when they wanted to skimp on hospital care and he won.

Mark Xavier LOWNEY

I have had several (4) OB-GYN doctors in the past 35 years...had to change two because of insurance reasons, the third one because a year after he did my hysterectomy I found out that I needlessly had the surgery. But that is neither here nor there at this time, the important thing is I found Dr. Lowney who is one of VERY FEW doctors in this area who prescribes bioequivalent natural hormones - and better than that he is a Christian man who is not afraid to share his faith and advertised that he is a PRO-LIFE practice!! He has done wonders for me since he has been handling my hormone replacement therapy.

I've seen Dr. Paul Williams for all my OB-Gyn care since 1985, when he cared for me during my difficult pregnancy and delivery/C-Section. Since then, he has helped me through my annual Paps, and when I was unable to take birth control pills any longer, helped me make the decision to use the IUD. And later, he guided me through treatment for cervical dysplasia, and finally my total hysterectomy. He shoots straight -- doesn't mince words. I have always felt that I could ask him anything, and he would give me an experienced and honest answer. He is a doctor you can trust.
Dr. Paul Williams is associated with The Crist Clinic for Women in Jacksonville, NC. This is an excellent group of doctors who are very experienced as well as up to date with all the current medical information/practices.
Mickey Mohamed KARRAM

Dr. Karram is a Urogynecologist in the Cincinnati area. He practices at Good Samaritan Hospital, as well as coming to Middletown Regional Hospital in Middletown once or twice a month. MRH is where he did my surgery. He was scheduled for one Friday a month when I had my surgery in 2002, and when he found out that I had recently lost my job, and needed to get the surgery done before I could start looking for a new one, he added me to his schedule, and came up earlier than normal to do my surgery first.
Every time I saw Dr. Karram, he was very matter of fact about what I needed to have done, and after the surgery, what I needed to do to help myself heal correctly.
He NEVER made me feel embarrassed, and was very thoughtful and considerate of my feelings. Just before my surgery, a nurse at the hospital asked if I had Googled Dr. Karram, and I said I had not. She said, "You should. This guy is known all over the world for the surgeries he does. He goes all over the world to tea... [More..]
I am a hystersister and a new grandmother. Dr. Hyler was as gentle with me as he was with my new granddaughter. After my surgery he even made my husband feel at ease and took time to explain everything. From the regular check ups to major surgery he makes you feel like he has no other patients but you . Thank you so much Dr. Hyler!

James Wynn BELYEU

This man is a Godsend! He is the Hormone King of Kings! I am in my 30's and had a total hysterectomy 5 years ago, so, needless to say, my body wasn't ready for this Surgical Menopause. Thanks to my sisters on Hystersisters.com for convincing me to check with a compounding pharmacy for a Dr that specializes in hormone therapy. He took me off of a horrible 'horse urine' pill that was loading me up with stuff I didn't need and put me on a natural patch and a couple compounded hormones. The difference was night and day. Dr. Belyeu (pronounced ballew) spent most of the first visit getting to know me. He is a very compassionate, understanding individual and his patients are WAY more than just another number. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

I've been a patient of Dr Perry's for a little over 2 years. My regular GYN thought I had an inguinal hernia from my c-section years back; however, it ended up being scar tissue adhering my large intestine to my colon...no wonder I felt like I was going to spring back everytime I stood up straight...the pain was horrible. He also had me on routine trigger point injections because I have a damaged inguinal nerve...which was from my c-section. Anyway, if you want to see Dr. Perry, get ready to complete a LOT of paperwork (he's very thorough) and plan on it being a couple of months to get in. He's worth the wait though.
