Dr. Howell is a wonderful doctor. I really recommend him. I have gone to him for several years and he always listens to what your problems are and offers advise. He is an excellent surgeon as well. He has been the only doctor that I have gone to that has gone down to the bottom of my female problems. I now know what is causing them, thanks to Dr.Howell! He really is the greatest... I have him to thank for me being alive now!

I was a patient of Dr. Mosher in 2001. He was a great listener and helped me understand what was going on with me. He had tests etc. ran to figure out what was wrong with me. I have had female problems for several years and he was the only doctor that had taken it to the next level and get down to the bottom of my problems. All the other doctors I had been too said they couldn't figure out what was going on. I was his patient up until I moved away from Denver. I highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. Powell is a very friendly and professional doctor. I was having stomach problems and had been seen by 2 previous doctors who in no way helped me except to lower my bank account. When I met with Dr. Powell I could tell from the start she would look out for my best interest. She treated me as if I was the most important person she had. I had terrible scar tissue from a tubal pregnancy and 2 previous c-sections, this was what was causing all the pain. She recommended a complete hysterectomy which she explained to me in detail and answered all of my questions without any rush. After the surgery she was in my room very often doing all she could to make me comfortable and aware of all that was going on. She called me at home to see how I was doing and to give me the pathology reports. I consided myself very fortunate to have found her and become her patient. Thank you Dr. Powell

I have been a patient of Dr. MaCaffery's 12 years. She delivered my youngest child 9 years ago. It was an amazing experience knowing that me and my family was a priority to her.
Last November, I had a hysterectomy. I was very nervous toward the whole procedure. Amy was very patient with all my concerns. Never once did I feel that she rushed in and out or feel that she didn't have time for me. She made sure that things were going as planned during my hospital stay. Amy allowed me to have a voice in my wellbeing. She truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Cecilia Yu is a pediatrician in Florissant, Missouri. I have six children, ages 4 to 13, and I have never met a more professional, competent pediatrician. We have been going to her for a number of years and she is by far the best thing that has happened to our family. Dr. Yu has all of the qualities that one would desire in a pediatrician. She is kind, patient, understanding, cheerful, knowledgeable, forthright and deeply interested in each child as an individual. She has the ability to remember the smallest details about each child and makes them feel special and loved. It is also very easy to get an appointment with her. I have never had any difficulty, whatsoever, getting a same-day appointment with either her or the other pediatrician on staff (who is also a remarkably competent doctor).

Wonderful, caring, comforting, down-to-earth doctor. Highly recommend. She listens intently to everything you have to say. Other doctors rush you in and out as quickly as possible, she never did this to me. Will stay with you until you fully understand all of your options. She is experienced and thorough, she asks lots of questions to diagnose you properly. I couldn't find one flaw in this doctor. Wish I had found her years ago. She performed my hysterectomy last fall because of the many problems I was having and there were no other options. I healed quickly and feel so much better having had her care.

Dr. Joseph Hurley is a surgeon at St. John's Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. I recently had to have a biopsy and removal of a suspicious lump in my breast. Dr. Hurley was incredibly thorough and professional throughout the entire ordeal. He was very kind, understanding and reassuring both before and after the surgery. He was referred to me by my OB and I could not be more pleased with his recommendation. Dr. Hurley also has a deep love for his faith and that is very important to me. It is nice, however, to find a doctor who has all of the qualities that you desire AND is an exceptional physician/surgeon.

Dr. Dottino is a gynecological oncologist. I used Dr. Dottino to conduct a prophylactic bilateral salpingo oopherectomy in May 2006. As I was only 36 at the time of surgery, I was very anxious about removing my ovaries and had trouble deciding between this surgery and a full hysterectomy. Dr. Dottino had several in person appointments and phone conferences with me over the course of 1 year, to discuss my options. He was always extremely patient, emotionally supportive and very knowledgeable. It is rare to find a surgeon whose bedside manner parallels his surgical skills. I recovered beutifully and can not say enough wonderful things about him. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Ricardo for an examination of potential Paget's Breast Cancer. At the time I saw her, my symptoms had actually improved and did not look like as severe as they had in months past. She listened to me, took everything into account that I told her and performed a nipple biopsy even through no tumor was shown on any other tests. I did have Paget's and Dr. Ricardo performed my mastectomy. She presented me with options of lumpectomy or mastecomy. She was honest, forthcoming and very easy to deal with.

After having my prolapsed uterius removed around 1998; I subsequently had my ovaries, a tumor (5cm) and a lympth node removed in 2004 due to experiencing sudden pain on all days - a Sunday.
After several tests at the emergency room it was shown that I had undeclared 'masses' on my left ovary and area.
My Dr. Ob/Gyn (whom I have been seeing since 2001) had me in for an immediate ultrasound on Monday and scheduled me for surgery that Thursday - with a direct warning that she may find cancer. Surgery came out well - had a full 3 mos. recovery time.
What I love about Dr.Chao is that she always there for me, always returns my call, down to earth, very empathetic and not afraid to level with you when it is something serious.

There ARE alternatives to hysterectomy for uterine fibroid tumors. Interventional radiologists (Dr. Martin Anbari is one in Springfield, MO) will help in the assessment of these pesky fibroids to determine whether uterine artery embolization is appropriate for you depending upon size, type, and location. Thankfully, mine were perfect for this procedure and I can't believe the difference this treatment has made in my life! The only other option was to have a hysterectomy or to live with them which was becoming more difficult with each passinig month.

She is a very Kind and Compasionate doctor. She was there to deliver my baby seventeen years ago and then she was still there when it was time for my Hysterectomy.
I'm 53, and had very large fibroids and hydrosalpinges (fluid- filled fallopian tubes). One fibroid was at least the size of an orange, if not larger. The hydrosalpinges were even larger -- like two large, swollen sausages. I put off having a hysterectomy for over 20 years because I dreaded the thought of invasive, open surgery, the hospitalization, and the long recovery time.
Dr. Moore specializes in Minimally Invasive Surgery -- he performed a LAPRASCOPIC supra-cervical hysterectomy which was done on an OUTPATIENT basis. Because the cervix, vagina, and pelvic floor are unaffected by the surgery, the recovery time is much, much shorter and less painful. I went home the same day as the procedure, which saved me a large insurance co-pay, and I avoided a hospital stay. Immediately after the surgery, I was up and at 'em with no trouble at all. I found Dr. Bochantin after 10 years of suffering with horrible problems related to my "female parts". I waited for 2 hours in her waiting room, but it was SO worth the wait. She spent 45 minutes with me. She listened to my complaints and ordered numerous tests to rule out all possibilities. When everything came back negative (OK), she asked me how I wanted to proceed. She was VERY understanding and sympathetic to my frustration and pain. I have recommended this doctor to many others and they have all had the same experiences. I highly recommend her to anyone who is tired of being told to have a baby or take birth control to take care of female problems.

Ihave been a patient with of his for 15 years and had the best advice and care. He delivered both my kids by c-section and had excellent recovery. Just had a lapo-partialhysterecty 4weeks ago and he explained everything exactly what would happen and the after care of the procedure . it was wonderful. He gave me options for the issues I was dealing with, and let me decide on the solution. I would recommend Dr Leazenby, with high regards, and understands how to relate to a females.

I have been seeing Dr. Sames since relocating from Wisconsin to Kentucky in 1998. Dr. Sames is very friendly, experienced, and extremely knowledgable. What I like about him is he encourages healthful living habits, rather than pushing pills to further enable the unhealthful lifestyle. He is very easy to talk to. Just an all-around wonderful person!
I went to Dr. Moore for a 2nd opinion when my regular OB/Gyn told me my fibroids were too large for being a candidate for minimally invasive hysterectomy (my uterus was the size of a 4mo. pregnancy). Dr. Moore was very up front and straight with me and let me know that while my fibroids were at the upper limits (size wise) he felt he could successfully perform the laparoscopic histerectomy, but of course there were no guarantees. I trusted him from the very beginning and liked his caring, straight up style. Not to mention his history in performing minimally invasive surgeries was very impressive.
He performed a laparascopic supracervical hysterectomy (LSH, left both ovaries intact per my request) and it was completely successful. I couldn't be any happier with how everything went and how wonderful both Dr. Moore and his staff were through the entire process. I would recommend him to ANYONE!

I was referred to Dr. Isbell during the Summer of 2006. His specialty is Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am 46 and had dealt with severe PMS for over 15 years. I was seeking a full hysterectomy after having had exhausted all other avenues of treatment. Dr. Isbell spent time consulting with me & after going over my medical history agreed to perform the hysterectomy. Surgery took place at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA in October of 2006 & the whole experience was wonderful. Dr. Isbell & his team were extremely caring, professional & on all accounts experts in their field! Today I am a new woman! I would encourage those women seeking an OB/GYN living in the Seattle region to visit Dr. Isbell.

I am an athlete, and in the spring of 2006, while running, I found it very hard to breathe. This continued for several weeks, and I noticed that my concentration was slipping and I was incredibly tired most of the day. I decided to see my ob/gyn, Dr. Joseph Salinas, as I have a 20 year history of anemia and heavy, painful periods. He called me personally as soon as the lab results came back and urged me to get emergency care as my hemoglobin count was six. I was reluctant to receive transfusions, so Dr. Salinas took the time to explain alternatives that might raise my count enough to allow him to perform a much needed hysterectomy (adenomyosis, fibroids). He listened to all of my fears and suggestions, accommodating me when he could, and providing excellent arguments when he couldn't. Finally, I was well enough by November to have the surgery.
