Dr. Venegas delivered my daughter. Not only did he always explain procedures to me, he was patient and answered any and all questions I may have had. He understood my situation, being that I was single, pregnant, and trying to finish my school. His staff was also very encouraging and informative. I appreciate all of them and would definately recommend ALL of their services to anyone.

I wanted to commend Dr. Tom Austin on being such a wonderful and caring doctor. When I moved to Columbia, SC I looked and looked for an Gyn that would listen to me and my problems. I went to two or three other gyns that either told me to deal with my pain or just didn't take me seriously. I was to the point I was going to start driving 3 hours back to my Ob/Gyn from 8 years ago in a different state.
Dr. Tom Austin, was considerate and understanding. He listened to what I had to say about my body. Gave me suggestions that might work. When I stated that previous pills or methods did not work for me he took that into consideration.
Unlike other doctors, Dr. Austin did not just "poo-poo" my ideas or what I thought could be the problem or concerns.
I ended up having a hysterectomy and Dr. Austin was caring and understanding prior, during and after the surgery. He answered all questions that I had honestly and promptly. He even called me himself the Monday after I got home from su... [More..]

I had went into the doctors office with Pain and he sugessted that i have a complete Hysterectomy, Well they scheduled it and it was scheduled on 8-8-07 (My Birthday) He did a good Job, They even sang Happy Birthday to me in the OR, Any questions i have i can call the office and the nurses are greatttttttttttttt they get my questions answered right away. I would like to thank Dr. Frasier and his staff for been so caring to me.

Dr.Jennifer Santiago is the most wonderful and caring doctor. I was so sad she left the Reston practice. She went above and beyond for me during my pregnancy and loss.
She is at Inova Ob-gyn Associates of No Va in Alexandria on Walker Lane. The number there is 703-719-5901. I believe there are 5 other doctors with that practice also.

Dr. Hill's bedside manner is out of this world. This is a doctor who truly takes the time to visit with each patient., yet he remains on a fairly consistent schedule. I have only had to wait an "extended" amount of time on very few occasions and unfortunately I've been to his office A LOT. I have not seen him in an OB state as he's not delivered my children, but I know plenty of people who've been his OB patients and they all love him. I hear all the time that he's the best OB doctor...

I had severe problems with periods, keeping in the bed half of the month. I felt like other Doctors didn't listen. Dr. Keene did. She didn't just stop with the ultrasound that looked ok. She did the laparoscopy and found my problems. She is extremely thorough and is very caring. She understands. Finally someone who listened. I am currently recovering from my hysterectomy and am ready to have a life. Do not just stop with an ultrasound, there could be more that doesn't show up.
I had a LAVH on June 6, 2007. Dr. Harkins was my physician and I would highly recommend him to anyone with gynecological issues. He treats you as if you are his only patient. I had some problems after my surgery and he was so accomodating to my needs. He keeps in touch via email and phone calls. I am a healthcare provider myself and he has the interpersonal skills that makes him even more successful. He's the best!

Dr. Kahl is a wonderful Physican. She is kind, thoughtful and caring. She is throughly professional. Dr. Kahl in interested in what I have to say and spends plenty of time answering my questions. I've never been to a Doctor quite like her. I feel I am in expert hands with her, and that she is completely interested in my continued good health and well-being. She performed a hysterectomy on me over 3 years ago and I had absolutely no complications. I could not recommend her more highly. She is a brilliant...compassionate....

This Onc/Gyn surgeon is EXCELLENT. Go to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania website. He has been voted top doc in the US. He specializes in onc/gyn cancers. Research and so much more. He performed my hysterectomy and it was a very positive experience. His nurses are great. He is kind, gentle, diligent, and understanding. He does a lot of research besides surgery. I couldn't ask for more.

I have been a patient of Dr Brown's for over 15 years. I suffered multiple miscarriages but came out of it all with 2 wonderful children. Had it not been for his support and advice, I would have not continued on and continued on and tried to have children. Dr Brown has performed multiple surgeries on me and I always recommend him to any female for his services. He is always to the point, but doesn't mind making you feel as if you'd known him for years. In 2001 two of this nation's top doctors practically insisted I have a hysterectomy because of their extreme concern that I might possibly have cancer. I almost had the surgery then, but, based on a lot of research, finally decided against it, and decided to take the wait and see approach. Sure enough, the thing that had caused those two doctors to worry (rapidly increasing fibroid growth) stopped, and my fibroids remained stable for six years.
Although throughout the decades I had relatively large fibroids, and ones which grew as I entered perimenopause, I did not have excessive bleeding or cramping, so they were basically asymptomatic. Yes, my belly stuck out a little bit, I frequently had mild lower abdominal discomfort and frequent urination, but these were all symptoms I could live with--I had no symptoms which would truly justify such major and possibly life-ending surgery. Dr. Lahmann is a wonderful doctor and person. The entire practice actually CARES about their patients. After surgery they call and check on their patients. They don't schedual patient on top of patient so you never feel rushed, and there is usually minimal wait to be seen. Both doctors in the practice are kind and compassionate.

I had a breast reduction done last july. He was great from the first consultation to the last appointment after surgery. I had found a lump after surgery and he got me in immediately. His bedside manor was way beyond my expectations. Walked with me into surgery and was there after to see me home. Very knowledgeable with his field and what to expect.

He is proactive in finding a solution to my abdominal pain. Did exploratory surgery after suffering for 7 months in pain with no diagnosis. After others i have seen that keep telling me "its in my head" and "it will go away eventually". He is great with his bedside manor and makes sure that you are totally taken care of. Willing to do research and talk to collegues to find out if they have heard solutions. Very personalable and listens!!!! Willing to find answers if he does not know them.
