Dr. Marilyn Mikman is a Gynecologist and surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Milkman for her bedside manner and empowerment of women. She is knowledgeable, warm, funny, reassuring, and showed me an incredible respect in a very scary time leading up to my surgery. I am having her perform a LSH and she was the only doctor I found who would listen to me, take me seriously, and respect me as a woman for what I need, which was the most minimally invasive procedure right now. She has managed to make me feel safe when all I had were traumatic experiences with other doctors.
Dr. Sims is wonderful!! She is a great doctor that cares about her patients. I would recommend her to anyone. In addition, she makes you feel wonderful and like you are special at every visit! I wish there were more doctors like her.
I absolutely love this doctor! He is such a nice person and a friendly doctor. I felt comfortable talking to him about my problems and he thoroughly gave me explanations. I completely recommend!

Dr, Cotes is absolutely the best doctor ever. When I was a teen he performed surgery to remove cancer cells, and in 2004 he handled my first pregnancy so well. I had a car accident in 7th month, and an ultrasound showed low fluid, Dr. Cotes handled the situation with ease and I knew there was nothing to worry about because I was in the hands of the BEST DOC EVER! During my second pregnancy, he scheduled extra ultrasounds to monitor my fluid levels to make sure everything was perfect. He also seems to love what he does. When he walks in the room he is always polite and never misses a handshake. There has never been a doctor that has made me so comfortable and carefree. It seems that he never forgets a patient either. If you see him out, expect a friendly smile from him if you are a present or previous patient. I don't know how he remembers so many faces, but thats just another way he is great.

This dr. is one of the most gentle, caring dr. I have ever had. He never gives up on finding answers, and he supports whatever you think is best, if it is safe for you. I really have enjoyed having him, for my dr. I have had him for several years, and will continue on with him. I had him do my Historectomy, and he checked on me 2 times a day and asked me when I was ready to go home. He even stopped by to see me before my surgury! I tell you this is the kind of dr.'s we need more of. If you have ever not been comfortable with your dr. go see Dr. Brown. I highly recomend him, and I know you will feel glad you see him when you do.
I was diagnosed with Stage III Ovarian Cancer in December of 2009 and Dr. Berchuck was my surgical oncologist. He continues to treat me - I have finished 6 chemo treatments and am in remission. He is saving my life so I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. He is very smart and his entire gynecological group is very professional - they all care a great deal about their patients. Love his nurse Charlotte too - she always answers her phone and she always remembers the little details that make such a big difference. They make going through a life altering experience completely bearable. If there is any chance at all that you might have ovarian cancer, RUN (don't walk) to Duke and make sure you have a qualified gynecological oncologist like Dr. Berchuck -or one of his team, as your surgeon.

I have been Dr. Bauman's patient for a number of years now. I rave about her to people I know. She is unlike almost all physicians I know currently in that she practices in her own office, not a part of a medical group. Her office is small, personal, and she knows me well. She has paid a great deal of attention and care to me over the years, running extensive tests when she became concerned about some issue, and following up by asking me to come back, persuing it with other doctors, calling them while I was there. She has referred me to specialists and made sure I was taken care of. She even makes house calls to older patients, and shows such personal, warm care that she is a treasure. She has a wonderfully dry sense of humor and always makes me laugh as well as feeling cared for. I don't even know if she takes new patients, but I would recommend her to anyone who is affected by how the medical establishment has become so impersonal these days. I had very bad experiences with 4 other gynecologists after I got my diagnosis and needed a hysterectomy. I knew what I wanted and needed that to be respected as my choice. I was very frightened initially and became more so after the trauma of the search process. Dr. Milkman was the last person I saw, and I have surgery scheduled with here. I am having a Supracervial Laporoscopic Hysterectomy was is controversial for my diagnosis. Because I have a traumatic background, that is the procedure I need done for now, with the choice for future surgery to be my choice. She immediately affirmed my decision as needing to be respected, and seems to come from a feminist perspective. I can see that her bedside manner and the degree of respect, kindness and warmth she has shown me has me entirely confident and trusting in her to do this frightening procedure, and that is saying a lot. She is the best ever. She will take her time with you and listen to every word you say. She is very comforting and friendly....also trustworthy. There is nothing this doctor can do to improve herself....she is at the top of her practice with every patient.
She is the only doctor that knew I had more then arthritis going on. She named it Fibromyalgia back in 98. Well she is the only one who caught the problem after years of pain I went through. I can't say enough good things about her....I would never verbally be able to. She is the best!

Dr. Christman is the real deal. He is very sweet and genuinely concerned for his patients! He was very helpful during my decision to have my much needed hysterectomy and very supportive. He is very skilled with the diVinci system. He even calls - personally to give me test results and see how I am doing. BEST OB/GYN DR. IN KANSAS!
dr bonar is nice polite and understanding and when you need emergency appointments she is able to help you get in as soon as possible. She always make you feel comfortable no matter the situation.
Thank the Lord for doctors like Dr. Schlesinger. He saw me within a week of my PCP and he diagnosed where my pain was coming from. Surgery within a day, pain free, and my recovery has been good. Dr. Schlesinger will always be my Doctor. I had an acute diabilatating disc

After being recommeneded to Dr. Moreton a little over two years ago with abnormal pap smear results. The course of action was pap smears every 3 months, then bumped to every 6 months until recently. With having two back to back pap smears with the results as severe, he called me in and talked about the next course of action we need to take.
He has answered all my questions and even helped me when it was embarassing to myself. He has a great bedside manner and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
I am his patient and for me he (Dr. Mohiuddin) is the best doctor i have ever met, because he takes his time with the patient, he talk and listen and is not there just to prescribe drugs like others do. He is not the kind of doctor that enter in the room for 3 min. prescribe and say see you in 4 weeks. He answer your questions and really care about his patients. Medicine is not longer what it was before, today doctors want to see 15 patient per hour because they just focus in money and not in patient health.

I found Dr. Marin (THANK GOD), when I first moved to the Albany area 15 years ago, she has made me feel like I am her only patient. I had a tough time getting pregnant and when it finally happened she was genuinely excited for me, she is a real person. At every visit she takes the time to answer your questions and go over your exam!
