Dr. Merkouris is completely awesome. I'm surprised at the comment that someone has had a problem with her billing - I've never had a problem and I've been seeing her for around 9 years. She's very warm, caring and really takes the time to talk to you when you see her. I credit her with saving my daughter's life when she was born. I just can't say enough good things about her - she's the best doctor I've ever been to. I highly recommend her.

She listens to your concerns, makes recommendations based on a combination of her knowledge and the instincts you have regarding your own health. She explains all procedures thoroughly, allows time for questions, has great "bedside manners", and never makes me feel rushed. I feel as if I have her full attention at each visit. She is very comforting and has a great sense of humor which is appreciated during some exams which can be awkward for any patient.
She was my OB for the two pregnancies and deliveries of both my children, my provider for annual exams, and recently performed several necessary procedures including an abdominal hysterectomy and removal of my ovaries.
Her nursing staff is also knowledgeable and caring.
Dr. Schermerhorn is a patient, kind professional. He has a wonderful listening ear and nurturing bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable about the latest trends in medicine and pharmacology and shares various options with patients in his evaluations of their care. He answered all my questions and abated my fears with sound medical advice and by sharing his wealth of experience in women's health care. His office staff is warm and personable. I never felt rushed or hurried when visiting his office. While in the hospital for surgery he visited me twice daily. I wish all health care professionals were as wonderful as him!

Dr. Willie Stephens is the best surgeon in the WORLD! He literally gave me life life back after suffering with TMJ for 30 years. Although he told me it went way beyond that. He gave me a total jaw joint replacement as I believe I very much needed it but unforntunatetly I was born before people ever even heard the 3 little letters TMJ that destroys lives as it did mine just up until now.

I was referred to University for my pancreatic cancer and a CT scan. Only after getting a repeated CT scan in University at my doctor's advise, i knew about the full extent of my disease. My doctor says this Radiologist is the best he knew in all his long career.
He went from helping me stop being anemic one month, to helping me get treated for breast cancer the following month. He gives you all the information you ask for, and is great so far as how he treats you as an equal.
He delivered my last child, and my kids loved him so much, that 8 years later when my oldest daughter was old enough to be a parent - he delivered my first grand child and will be delivering my oldest son's first child later this summer.
He is totally professional, yet very 'human' - I liked that a lot about him. I like him so much, he is doing my hysterectomy in June 2010.
He performed a 'tummy tuck reconstruction' of my breasts the same day I had a double mastectomy. This man is very competent and diligent and made the whole experience much more 'pleasant' than we thought it was possible to be.

He has a GREAT 'beside' manner. He is very thorough in his explanations and in his care of his patients. I would send anyone I know to him! He performed 2 lumpectomies, put a port/central line in, and a double mastectomy. He helped my husband's peace of mind even more than mine!

Dr. Im is the best. There arent many doctors willing to really listen to your concerns. I was tired of being but in a box of what females go thru, and when I found Dr. Im all that was over. Dr. Im will listen to you, give you options and together you will decide whats best for your treatment. He makes you feel able to trust him right away. I never felt unsure about anything when leaving his office. He is very skilled at what he does. After my surgury he visited me, making sure I didnt need anything, and someone from the office will make sure you dont miss a appt. A little over a year later, you can barely see a scar where I had my surgery. Anyone that is looking for a gentle,caring doctor, Dr. Im is the one. He's located @ Mercy Medical Center- (The Women's Doctor) in Baltimore, MD.

Dr Fattahi uses advanced techiques to devise a treatment plan for your circulation and varicose vein problems. He will treat your problem at the source, ensuring long term results. He is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and caring. His staff is responsive to the patient needs, and the office is very attractive , clean, and professional. All aspects of treatment
are handled in a way that places patient comfort and safety first ! He is patient in explaining procedures and always takes his time with each patient. This is very different from some other Doctors, who always seem to be in a hurry to get to the next patient. At the Vein Clinic, each patient feels like they are the most important person there, when receiving treatment ! Highly recommend Dr. Fattahi and the Vein Specialty Clinic in Campbell, CA ! My varicose veins are improving already, and I haven't even completed the full course of my treatment ! Seeing outstanding results already !
Dr. Pine is amazing! I work with him and his staff occasionally and they are all dedicated to each and every person that is seen. He works really hard to make sure that THE best care is given to everyone. My child has not needed ENT but if she ever does I will definitely bring her to Dr. Pine.

I am a medical student that rotated with Dr. Pine and I found that he is one of the most caring and dedicated doctors I have worked with. He really takes the time to make sure his patients understand everything that is going on with their kids as well as what interventions can/should be taken. To him, choosing a course of action for a child is really a group consensus between the parents and himself rather than 'this is what needs to happen' situation. He loves making 'raving fans' of his patients and likes to go the extra step to make sure his patients and their parents have an excellent medical experience. Sometimes its as simple as a flavored tongue depressor for the kids or educational videos for the parents.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schaffter's for many years, and I love the Dr. patient relationship we have. She takes the time to chat, ask about my family and is always ready to answer any questions or concerns I have about my health care needs.

Dr. E is a wonderful doctor...Very friendly, makes you feel like a friend, not just a patient. Was wonderful with my other children during my ob visits, involved them in the sonograms & finding their baby brothers heartbeat. Sits & talks to you about any problems you may have, or if you have any questions he will take his time to answer where you can understand things. I highly recommend Dr. E, he & his nurses were wonderful. I truly looked forward to my OB visits.
I have been his patient for over 25 years. 11 years ago I moved 2 hours away and after seeing 3 other GYN's in this city,I stay with Dr. Baird.I find hom MOST likeable, smart caring,profess,and most of all he knows his stuff! He keeps his patients first and foremost, offers the best of care. I hope he never retires!
I do tell woman that need care to seek him out! I will be his pt for as long as he is available.

Before I became a patient I had the honor of working with Dr. Elzawahry when I was a floor nurse in both local hospitals. His expert knowledge and absolutely wonderful, warm ,kind personality made him the natural choice when I unfortunately became a patient. He is a great person! This man is a gift to mankind. He is extremely intelligent. He has a genuine sense of compassion for people in general, not just those lucky enough to have him as their doctor. Dr. Elzawahry AND his wife, Dr. Joan Elzawahry, are two of the finest people I have ever met. They serve as perfect examples for the rest of us to follow. If there were more people, not just doctors, like these two, this world would be a much better place.
When I was 17 I had a huge knot in my abdomen. It had been there for over a year when I finally showed my mom. I was recommended to Dr. Geer. I liked him on the spot as did my mom. He explained every possible scenario. I also know that he consulted other doctors who recommended hysterectomy, to my being cut from my sternum to my pelvis. Dr. Geer being the the type of guy gave me a "smiley face"scar to where I wouldn''t be scarred so badly. He told me I could wear a bikini and that if it was low enough to show my scar I didn't need to wear it anyway. He was compassionate enough to take his time and listen to his own instinct for my best interest not the fastest in and out. I was his first surgery patient in Cookeville now he serves my entire family. He is the most caring doctor I have ever known. I had my first child at 27 and another fibroid cyst grew. I had 3 doctor recommending a hysterctomy. I went back to Dr. Geer he removed it with a laser. He told my family he could have done 3 h... [More..]

Dr. Webb is a great GYN! She is very knowledgable in her field and always listens to her patients. She will never tell you that the problem is all in your head or to tough it out like I have heard that some GYNs do. She has a great bedside manner and makes an awkward and uncomfortable situation more tolerable.

I had researched several MDs regarding penile implantation post prostate treatment. I have several iatrogenic problems related to my treatment, some of which are ED, hypo gonadism, low testosterone, and peronie's disease. Dr.Mulhall is knowledgeable and empathetic, an author of sexual dysfunction, but I never felt an attitude of condescension, which I have from nearly all four of the others I have tried to get help from. He is trustworthy and didn't appear to be in it for the money (as I felt the others were), he gave excellent advice, and was willing to first evaluate low testosterone symptoms thoroughly, ie - MRI of remaining prostate and bone density test to see if testosterone therapy is possible. He was thorough in his consultation with me, answering nearly all my questions before I had to ask. He was critical in his evaluation of some of my previous treatment, before I told him of my own discouragement. Dr. Mulhall is happily and finally my Urologist!
