For the past five years, it has been my pleasure to discuss philosophy of health care administration and delivery with Dr. Knowland. His depth of professional knowledge and skill are god-like. His sensitivity for his patient comparable to that patient's own mother. He is the epitome of ethical, competent, caring, and fully-dedicated health care provider. It would behove the entire American medical establishment to study his ways. I know I do. He is a leader among those we trust to make us better. To say that I recommend him does not come close to expressing my high respect and admiration for him as a health care colleague.

Dr Fuller and Dr McGovern saved my life! My local physicians had me take CTs, ultrasounds, MRIs and gave me a very bleak prognosis - months to live. Dr Fuller took one look at the exact same test results and film and said "No problem, we will have you better in a short while." He had Dr McGovern scrub in and the two of them performed a very long complicated surgery like it was second nature and now, 10 years later, I am still here!! Two grandkids to enjoy that I would never had seen if I had listened to my (former) local physicians! Dr Fuller could not have been more kind and caring if he had been my own father!

I have suffered for many years with a personal urological problem. I have been to many Urologists yet it wasn't until I began seeing Dr. Boone that I my problems were properly addressed. She took her time with me, and never once did I get the sense that I was being "talked down" to. She listened with care and concern. I am still her patient and am finally receiving the type of care that I need. Her office staff are personable and professional. I highly recommend her.

I saw one of Dr. Ali's residents thru OSF Sisters Community Clinic. They all were wonderful. They gave a ot of one on one time, were caring and personable and treated me with dignity and as an unique individual. I highly recommend this clinic and any of the residentsas well as the attending physicians. The attendings expect a great deal of the residents and the residents inturn provide that quality care.

Dr. Cole did a meniscal allograph on my 14 yr old daughter--now 17 and she is doing great!!!! He was approachable, good sense of humor. We were able to talk directly with him, not have to go thru the nurse. He fought for our insurance to approve the procedure. Just a great guy!
I recently saw Dr Adler after seeing several other obgyn's. This is the first physician that really took the time to take my complete history and ask all the questions himself. I got to meet him BEFORE getting naked in an exam room! What a novel idea. I was able to open up to Dr Adler, and he was able to help in a complete manner. He is friendly, compassionate, and he actually listens to you. His office and staff were wonderful, and I felt right at home. I would recommend Dr Adler to any woman with a gynecological problem or even for routine care. He is the best!

Dr. Thornton performed a septoplasty and a turbinate resection on me. Everything went smooth as can be from the surgery to the post-operation appointments. Also, the procedure has done wonders for me.
Dr. Harrell and his staff were wonderful. I had gone to other plastic surgeon's offices before to see about having breast augmentation and never felt as comfortable as I did at the Fountain of Youth! I thank them for everything they have done!

Dr. Nazarian delivered my baby girl, she was my OB for my entire pregnancy which had many complications, she is the BEST OB I have ever had. (and I have had a few)... Recommend her to EVERYONE I KNOW! She has treated me for many complications and high risk with pregnancy as well as some other things. She preformed my CSection and was with me through 18 hours of labor prior. Love her!

i'm 35 weeks pregnant and i've been his patient for a 2 years now. every time i go he is attentive, concentrated on me, sincere and gentle. i love being seen by him! best doctor i've had so far. i trust him. he's saved my friend's child and helped my other friend who was high risk and lost her 1st baby. he is knowledgeable, experienced and has a good reputation among mothers and mothers-to-be.

Dr. Hines makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. The process of a doctor's visit for any type of medical procedure tends to have me on pins and needles. But he puts you at ease and constantly reassures you of what he is going to do and why. You can tell he truly loves what he does and it shows. He is personable, comforting, cheerful and easy to talk to.

Dr. Stanley is by far the best doctor I have ever had. Even when I saw him the first time and was upset about abnormal periods, he calmly recommended an endomitrial ablation. He did the surgery several months later and I was in and out of the hospital in a matter of hours. I felt so much better about myself. I see him every year for my "well-woman" visit and he is always very kind and caring. I saw an ad in the paper today that said he was leaving Halifax/OB-Gyn effective June 30. It did not say where he was going. I wish he would/could put something in the paper that would let us know where he is going; so that if I needed to, I could change my insurance. If he is moving out of the area, I wish him a heartfelt goodbye. I didn't even know he gave his time to uninsured patients. I know what it feels to be without insurance and to me that is by far the most kindest thing a doctor can do. eas

My heart is heavy with sadness - I learned just yesterday (5/20), that Dr. Thompson passed away.
He performed 2 surgeries on me, and saved my life. He was a gentle giant of a man and I will always be grateful for his expertise and kindness.
My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family. May God Bless them and help them find peace.
I received excellent service as a patient in the Cardiac ICU. I felt very secure and at ease with the high level of caring and professional nursing that I was given. When I was moved to the general care cardiac unit, the excellent attention continued. Their dedication to their patients and their profession was most obvious.
Dr. Jonathan Fong through his medical skills and comforting personality, made me feel much less apprehensive about the procedure. Venice Regional Medical Center is most fortunate to have such an outstanding cardiac surgeon. I will certainly recommend him to all my friends.

I would recommend Dr. Tidwell to any woman, no matter the age. Why, you might ask? Well, because she is very proffesional and understanding and very caring and most of all, she listens to what you have to say. She has years of experience!! She knows her job very well. She is a native of GA and she came back to help her own people. She is also very friendly.
I am actually waiting on my LAVH to be done on 5/26/2010. Can't wait for her to do it. I am not saying that all the other doctors out there are not good, but each doctor has their own unique quality and hers is she understand each individual's needs. She is really adorable!!!!!!!
