Dr. Beurskens performed my hysterectomy and I really feel that if I had any other doctor, I would not have been as happy with my results. She had also had a hysterectomy and I feel that this made her much more sympathetic to everything I was going through and could answer any of my questions after the surgery.
She always took her time with me in both her office and the hospital and has wonderful bedside manner which is rare these days!

I found Dr. Rexroth to be extremely knowledgeable before, during and after my hysterectomy surgery. He was also very caring during my recovery and was available to answer any and all questions when asked. I would highly recommend this doctor whether it be for your ob care or any female surgery. Dr. Rexroth is also the only surgeon in the Cedar Rapids area that can perform a tubal ligation reversal. Very pleased with all services I received.

Dr Nash is a wonderful Reproductive Endocrinologist. (RE) He has kept me from having a hysterectomy like my OB/Gyn wanted to do for over 7 years. ( I have Stage IV Endometriosis) He's very caring and very knowledgable. He is one of the best in his field in the region. I'm so thankful I asked to see a specialist when she wanted to perform that surgery over 7 years ago. And I'm so thankful I found Dr Nash. His office staff are wonderful, also. He's performed 2 surgeries on me and will be doing another in a month. I love him and his staff! Unfortunately he couldn't create a miracle and make me pregnant, but we gave it our best shot and I know everything was done being that Dr Nash is so good. I can't think of 1 suggestion to make Dr Nash better. He's the best!

I've been a patient of Dr. Addis for the past 5 years. I've had a complete hysterectomy and had one ovary removed. I have found Dr. Addis to be comforting, knowledgeable and takes her time with her patients to listen to concerns and answer questions. I have always received excellent service from her staff and Dr. Addis. I highly recommend her.

She will take time to listen to you, answer your questions and even answer the ones you forgot to ask. Her office is very nice and so is the staff.
Normally I get sent to a lab to do work, my check up I had labs and ultrasound done right there, diagnosed and scheduled for surgery. She is awesome and knows a lot!

Dr. Abarca is a warm, kind, gently OB-Gyn that I felt comfortable with from the moment I met her.
Before, during, after my surgery (vag hyst, A/P repair) I felt comfortable calling her even if I thought it was a stupid question and she patiently answered questions and was very caring.
I highly recommend her.

He is a wonderful, caring surgeon he has a wonderful disposition and smiles a lot. He explained the procedure in depth to me and made me feel less apprehensive about it. He has a great bedside manner and follow-up visits are great too.
I had to have a huge incisional hernia repaired with mesh and six months out I have not experienced any problems. I was not in much pain in the hospital either--compared to the exploratory surgery I had done by a different surgeon. He came highly recommended to me by another doctor.

Dr. MacKoul is such a great Doctor. He is very kind, gentle, and helped me to feel comfortable. He did a wonderful job of taking care of my health. Dr, Mackoul specializes in Gyn Onncology using laperscopic surgery which really is the way to go. I have had two suregries that he performed and both times I healed really well with very little scarring. Thank you Dr. MacKoul you saved my little girls mommy. I would send my best friend to him if they were ever faced with cancer.

After having been to several doctors, I was beginning to feel that there were none were left with a decent bed-side manner. I was suffering from painful Endometriosis with extremely large uterine fibroids. It was so important to me that I find a surgeon I could trust, especially since I had never had children and was facing a probable hysterectomy. The doctors of my past were rude, cold, matter-of-fact and always in a hurry, as they needed to get to their next patient, who was obviously higher on their list than little old me. Dr. Allen was patient and caring, intelligent and thorough. She spent the time with me I needed and answered all my questions with empathy and compassion. I made sure she was experienced and could trust her. I was easy with her. I believe she gave my life back to me, and I could not be happier with having her as my doctor. Dr. Scott King in Jackson, MI, is an OB/GYN who really cares about his patients. I don't think he delivers babies any more, but he has been a source of much information and comfort to me during my many visits with gynecological problems and subsequent hysterectomy and hormone therapy. Dr. King is a font of knowledge and keeps very up-to-date on the many research studies regarding women's health issues. Because of this, he has taken a lot of time with me explaining the pros and cons of different treatments, what the studies say, what the studies don't say, where the media screw up in reporting on women's health issues, and listening to my concerns without writing me off as a crazy woman! Before my hysterectomy, he took 45 minutes with my husband and me to explain about the surgery, all the do's and don'ts of recovery, all that my husband needed to do for me (Yay!), and what to expect. Dr. Vanderquaak is a partner in Hope: A Women's Cancer Center in Asheville, NC. He is a wonderful and caring doctor, and those in the WNC area who unfortunately need to see someone in this field are indeed FORTUNATE if they have him as their physician and to have this group of dedicated and friendly staff caring for them. I had a complete abdominal hysterectomy and exploratory laparoscopy for a large suspicous mass and Dr. V and his group took the best care of me both in the months before my surgery and the short time I needed them afterwards. I strongly recommend this doctor and this group. Going to Hope was never stressful... the place is like walking into a lodge, with the fireplace in the center, the comfortable overstuffed rockers, chairs, and couches, and then the beauty of the mountains through the picture windows. Its truly a place of healing.

Dr. Michael Hotchkiss is the type of doctor all doctors should be like! He takes the time to listen to you. He is kind and considerate and tries to do what ever it takes to keep you healthy. He only specializes in gynocology and has a tremendous amount of experience with ovarian issues (tumors, masses, cysts, etc.) He is not the type of dr. who gives you a pill, pats you on the head and sends you on your way. He will work every avenue and run what ever test you need to get to the bottom of the problem. He is well versed in bio identicals and has no problem with alternative types of medication. I am so glad that he is my dr.

At 25 years of age I had a hysterectomy. Dr Fern was so caring and considerate of the questions I had for someone my age having a hysterectomy. He was and still remains genuinly concerned for my health. He is an AMAZING surgeon as I have a barely visible scar from my complete hysterectomy. Dr Fern will always give you 100% of his attention and listens intently to any questions or concerns you have. I was told in the beginning by my nurse practioner that he walks on water and indeed he does. What a fabulous man!

Dr. Servy is an endocrinologist and fertility specialist. He performed a total hysterectomy on me in April 2006. I had no problems and my follow up with him was excellent.
