I found Dr. Benezra by sheer grace, as I moving from New Jersey and needed to find an OB-GYN who would not only accept me as a high-risk pregnancy, but also as a transfer patient at the late duration in my pregancy of 28 weeks. I could not have chosen a more incredible physician. He immediately put me at ease regarding my concerns about this pregnancy, and carefully monitored my few remaining weeks. His bedside manner and genuine concern exceed that of any physician I have ever seen. On November 21st, 2007, Dr. Benezra delivered my son at Holmes Regional. As Dr. Benezra had assured me, he would be ok, and my son was just perfect. I live an hour away, but I continue to drive enthusiastically for my follow-up visits, as I am certain he is the finest OB-GYN I have ever had. I would, and have recommended him to all of my friends, and I am thankful that I found him. Dr. Benezra is a superb physician.

Dr. Hackie was always a very conscientious student when in medical school. He worked and studied very hard and was ever devoted to his patients. His hard work has gotten him to this place in time with credit going to both his parents and Edward's hard work as a physician. He is also capable of handling any emergency without being stressed since his years of experience have given him the skills to stay focused in a crisis. I would hope that if I am ever in Las Vegas and have any emergency, he would be there to assist me.

I was suffering from chronic lower back (lumbar) pain and spent several months in debilitating pain and after seeing three neurologists and having medication prescribed that didn't work. I received a referral from a friend to Dr. Murray. I went the appointment with low expectations.
Wow were my expectations were blown away! Many Doctors treat you and then the better ones TREAT you well. I was treated like a welcome member of his family. Dr. Murray took the time to hear me, scheduled me for an MRI and then treated me. He KNOWS what he is doing! At the age of 55 he gave me back my youthful use of my back. After a specialized treatment from Dr. Murray I was able to carry on a very active lifestyle that included building a sunporch on my home, getting involved in Kayaking, landscape gardening and other physical activities I never thought I would ever do again. Dr. Iqbal is one of the best surgeons in our area I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. His kindness, compassion, his dedication, AND his wonderful sense of humor are all just icing on the cake compared to his excellent surgical skills. Having been his patient for the past 5 years as well as knowing his reputation in the hospital system where I worked as a nurse, I find I made an excellent choice.
When I decided to have my initial surgery and mentioned his name to my primary care physician - his comment was "you'll never regret your choice. He's excellent". He was right. I've had two surgeries in the past 5 yrs and I've chosen Dr. Iqbal both times. So did my husband, niece, sister-in-law, and several friends. Good word spreads fast!

i need a doctor immediately therapy soon as possible for my back and my neck and majorly my cervics and ovaries ... I really would like to have another baby .. been having problems for as carrying a baby for 9- 10 months also developement of my own body for as the changes you through during the process of conceiving or giving birth words or terms i can used to be understood , breast developement and producing the lost of an baby and proper procedures of cleaning or removal of certain tissues that need to be done there has been alot of pain worried about side-effects of the cervics and ovaries since, I've went to the Doctor and he didn't exactly clean or check " (meaning look at my fetus or any left over particles of possible bacteria possibly forming) although I believe that Dr. Scales, job or field is gyn. ... Dr. Walker has been my Doctor since 1993. I was diagnosed upon my yearly exam with a Subserosal Fibroid in 2006 when it was the size of a golf ball. I skipped my 2007 exam so when I went in Oct 2008 he said my fibroid had grown to the size of a softball. He advised me my ovaries look good so I shouldn't have them removed but he would know more once I was in the OR. My husband and I had decided 11 years ago not to have children and with that decision he urged me to have a Partial Hysterectomy (SUH). He continued to advise me my severe back aches would continue if I didn't have the procedure done now and eventually I would have to have the fibroid removed but the incision would be a vertical incision instead of the horizontal incision which has a longer recovery and is more painful. He advised I would be in the hospital for two days if healing went as he expected and he has done countless Hysterectomies in our small town of Key West. I scheduled my surgery with him for Nov. 7. Before meeting Dr. White, I was under the care of a different OB/GYN at a different hospital. I delivered my first child under that doctor's care in 2002 & it was a terrible experience. I felt I didn't get good prenatal care, and I had a very hard labor & delivery then. I actually almost died it was so bad! After my husband and I got pregnant again a 2nd time recently, I was terrified the same thing could happen again. However, I chose a different doctor this time (Dr. White) and everything went great! I felt like he listened well, and that I had great prenatal care under him & his nurses. When it was time to deliver the baby, we got great care at the hospital I delivered at where Dr. White works, and it was a much smoother labor & delivery this time... I'm so thankful. I would truly recommend him to anyone, especially high risk pregnancies.

Dr. Lavin is amazing. I got pregnant when i was 16 years of age and was very scared to be judged, being in that office there seems to not be one ounce of judgement. All the doctors in his office are amazing! so comforting and relaxing when i found i was having twins he laughed with me and cryed with me when i found out my twins passed he comforted me, and cryed with me. My journey to Dr. Eads began this summer with a co-worker pressuring me to get back to the Women's Doctor for a visit (been 8 years). I normally prefer women for this task, but took her word and met with Dr. Eads. He was wonderful. He spends quality time with you prior to your exams to talk about your lifestyle and goals and then after the exam he talks with you again...think Mr. Rogers nice.
He suggested a few options for my prolapsed bladder/anus and fibroids in my uterus. We ultimately used the DaVinci robotic laprascopic hyster with a bladder lift and anus too. My spouse calls it an engine overhaul...i am 6 days out and only on advil for pain. It was tough getting off pain meds, but since then smooth sailing. The doctor assured me all was well and I did not need to endure the pain or embarrasment I had been living with since 1996....amazing that it took this long to find him! Thanks Dr. Gregory Eads!!!!

Dr. Merkouris looked after me during my pregnancy. Her and her staff are absolutely wonderful. They answer any questions I have and make me feel comfortable. Dr. Merkouris did an excellent job with my (unexpected) c-section and did everything to ensure the health and safety of me and my daughter. I definitely recommend her!

There are not enough words to thank Dr. Jennings and his staff for the amazing care they have provided me over the last 3.5 years. I am 27, and have a complicated medical history outside of my GYN difficulties. Dr. Jennings and his staff are thorough and kind at every visit. Even if the waiting room is full they take the time to answer your questions, and discuss the most difficult decisions. Dr. Jennings is both comforting and diligent in the care of his patients. Prior to my Da Vinci hysterectomy this year he spent 45 minutes during an office visit discussing my options, possibilities to extend my fertility, and risks of the procedure. I would recommend this practice to my closest friends.

Dr. Shimm is not a good doctor, an OK doctor, nor just a regular doctor. He is absolutely SUPERB!! There is not enough room to tell you about this wonderful, intelligent man, so, JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!!
If you want the best cancer care come to the Beckley Cancer Center for your radiation treatments.
He treated a friend of mine for tonsil cancer and actually this friend barely had any discomfort. I've always understood that this type of cancer treatment is usually a nightmare. That was not the case in my friend's treatment.

I recommend Dr. Stowell to anyone needing a good OB/GYN. Dr. Stowell helped me when my usual OB/GYN did nothing to help me. I had a D&C and 2 months after I began bleeding profusely. My Doctor didn't take my calls, but he did. He saw me in the office and I felt comfortable around him. Eventually I ended up having a hysterectomy, which Dr. Stowell preformed. My family was also impressed by his bedside manner. Thanks to him I am on the road to recovery.
I highly recommend Dr. McGowan. She is the best doctor that I have ever had, or could ever ask for. She listens when you have questions, she gives you great answers to all your questions... My husband and I went to her about 4-5 months ago, because we are trying to get pregnate, and havent been able to. Dr. McGowan is doing everything she can for us, to get us pregnate...
She doesnt try to push anything on you... If she makes a suggestion, and you dont really like it, thats fine with her, she will just think of something else... She is very caring to your wants and needs... What I like most about her, is that, when she does any kind of procedure on you, she tells you everything that she is going to do before she does it, and she defenetly makes sure that you make a follow up appointment, so that she knows that you are doing ok... Dr. Hale replaced my right hip in 1985. When I first met him, I thought he was a little gruff. His bed side manor wasn't real gentle. But he is a gifted, skilled surgeon and he does surgery like a fine tuned mechanic. I recovered quickly with great success. I had to have my left hip replaced by another orthopedist. Dr. M. Shaw, M.D. I did not like that Dr. and the hip replacement did not come out well at all. I also got drop foot from that surgery. In 1994, I had to have a right hip revision because my hip had worn out after 19 years. I went back to Dr. Hale. Again, he did a great job. It was very successful. I will be going back to see him again soon. He is a very skilled doctor.

She is a very lovely woman who is excellent in the field of women's health and pelvic floor disorders. She is very persistent in getting you the help you need to solve your problem. She has studied at Cleveland clinic and , I think, also in Pittsburgh. She took the time to call me with some answers to questions after my first visit.
I am hoping to have my problems resolved soon with her help.
