Dr. Parker was awesome in my recovery from a Laprotomy and Myomectomy gone wrong from a previous doctor. She also took care of me when I had an abdominal hystorectomy, that required reconstructive surgery from the past surgeries. She is so patient and listens to your needs and is highly itelligent in her field.

After 2 years of problems with my menstrual cycle and trying numerous options from my regular physician, I was referred to Dr. Durland by a friend. On my first visit I explained my problems, what I'd tried to treat it and she listed to everything. She was empathetic to my situation, and frustrations. I explained that I was through having children, had been for almost 9 years and could not see any reason to continue to tolerate the pain and prolonged menstrual cycles I had been tolerating for 2 years. Dr Durland sent me for a sonogram and blood tests right away and within 5 days I was back in her office hearing my options. She explained all of the pros and cons to each, so I could make a good educated decision. After I had talked with my husband I called back and made the appointment for a hysterectomy and they scheduled it at a time that was most convenient for myself and my family. Dr. Kelly Manahan specializes in gynecological cancers. She is dedicated to further research and supports efforts to make the community aware of ovarian cancer. Dr. Manahan is totally professional, yet has a warmth and caring way that when combined with a great sense of humor - makes your visits a lot easier. She performed a total hysterectomy on me a year and a half ago for a rare form of ovarian cancer. I follow up with regular visits and appreciate her knowledge and continual commitment to help women dealing with this issue. If you know anyone facing this difficult disease in the Indianapolis area, I highly recommend her.

Dr. Shammai Rockove, a urologist, owns The Center for Mens and Womens Urology in Gresham, Oregon. I have been a patient of Dr. Rockove's for nearly three years and can highly recommend him and his clinic for well informed and cutting edge care for interstitial cystitis. The trait that I most appreciate about Dr. Rockove is his willingness to partner with me in my medical treatment. I received a total hystrectomy. He and his staff were so very informative and helpful. He explained all that the surgery entailed and after the surgery I was checked on repeatedly for several days in hospital. He is very trustworthy and supportive. He never seemed to think that any question was not relevant. His experience alone and manner seamed very comforting.
His staff of nurses were never unavailable they provided instant assistance and support. They were the best I have ever dealt with

Dr. Trotter has been our family doctor since 2000. She is always generous with her time and listens to everything the patient has to say. Her staff works to be certain that each patient is well taken care of during their visit. She became my hero when she detected a mass during a routine exam. I had a deadline because of my schooling and she got me into see a specialist the same day. My surgery was the following week and I made it to my first class on time. I appreciate the fact that she cared about every area of my life and not just my health.

I recommend Dr. Shamonk because;
He treated me as an individual. He took the time to explain things to me in a manner I could understand. He took his time with me and spoke with other doctors in charge of my care.
I had to have a hysterectomy and in addition he repaired two hernias.
I have clinical depression and he was very concerned about my mental state.
There is not enough room here to express my gratitude, respect and admiration I have for this wonderful man and his wonderful assistant's; "Martha" and "Cosette."

Dr. Gherig is polite, non-judgmental, and empathetic about your discomfort and your sense of urgency to get relief. She treated me for IC. She first ran all the tests to rule out other possible problems, then she took the time to explain about IC without rushing. She clearly is well-versed about IC and keeps up with the literature. She gave me a list of possible foods that might exacerbate the irritation. Through diligent trial and error, she followed her protocol for medications, primarily for symptom relief. I am now on regular doses of Elmiron and Urised which help enormously.
I have been a patient of Jeffrey Frank for almost 23 years. He delivered my child and most recently performed a hysterectomy (supracervical, laproscopic). I was up and around in about 2 1/2 weeks, back to work in 4. He is patient and alsways willing to listen. He has the best bedside manner and a way that makes yu feel safe and sure that what he is telling you has yur best interest at heart. I would recommend him to all!

Dr Gandhi is an "EXCELLENT" and "VERY CARING" doctor she has saved my life twice. I have been a patient of hers since I was 17 years old and I am now 45. She has delivered 2 of my children and took care of me when I was diagnosed with fibroids which also turned out to be Ovarian Cancer. She moved very quickly to make sure that I got the care that was needed to help me survive. Thanks Doctor!
This is a doctor that takes her time with her patients and goes beyond the call of duty to make sure that her patient gets all of the medical treatment that is needed. For a doctor that truly cares about you as a patients and as a person, I highly recommend Dr.Shobana Gandhi. Thanks Dr. Gandhi for being there for me!

Dr. Abbott is my OBGYN and he did my Hysterectomy. I had a six month waiting period for any surgerys, so during this time Dr. Abbott and his staff made sure that I was a comfortable as possible during my six month wait for my Hysterectomy. Dr. Abbott and his staff make me feel like family, and thanks to him my surgery and recovery went very well.

Dr. Hanjani is a caring and compassionalte. He goes above and beyond his role as a doctor and displays a deep knowlege of his expertise in his area of medicine. I have recomended Dr. Hanjani to eight of my close friends and neighbors. Each and every one of them thank me for recomending them to the best obstitrician in the feild. I live over 50 miles from his office and trust me, he is worth the travel time. It is hard to find a good doctor and trust me if you are pregnant, rest assured, Dr. Hanjani will exceed all of your expectations.

I was referred to Dr. Segretti after being diagnosed with cervical cancer (adenocarcinomo) in 2006. Since then she has been a God-send! After having a radical hysterectomy Dr. Segretti oversaw my preventative radiation/chemo treatments. She definately gives a human touch to the medical field. Before surgery she answered every question I had completely, using terms *I* could understand! I never felt rushed while meeting with her or as if I was asking a "common sense" question. After surgery I found out that having an after hours problem didn't mean speaking with the doctor on-call, but rather Dr. Segretti would return my call. That is just another example of how she seperates herself from other doctors I've dealt with.
She takes her patients concerns seriously. After dealing with a doctor who made me feel like I was overreacting to my situation--Dr. Segretti offered a gentle, understanding approach. Now, almost a year post-surgery, I know that when I call her office I won't have to ... [More..]

For years I had been in pain. Gone to numerious Dr.s and know one would listen to what I had to say. They seemed to like to get as much money from tests, over and over that were always negative. I kept telling them it was my body and I knew something was wrong with my ovaries and uterus, I could tell because the pain I had was consistant. I was in pain 3 weeks out of the month and I had what I called episoeds every time during ovaulation time. Even though it was my body I did not know what I was talking about, at least that is what they said. At the time I was 33 years old and no one would touch me even though I had 2 children already, they said I was to young. So they expected me to live my life in pain. I was referred to Dr. Jennifer Smith by a friend of mine. The very first time I met her I knew she was the one to listen to what I had to say. She was my life saver. Jeffery Dell is a urogynecologist that specializes in pelvic disorders and is especially interested in treating Interstitial cystitis. He is continually involved in ongoing reasearch. He is a sought after presenter. He is probably the most compationate physician I have ever had. I was referred to Dell because my condition had my gynecologist stumped. My gynecologist was sure Dell would know what the problem was...and if Dell didn't know that Dell would know someone that did. Dell knew. He has been very encouraging to me and continually reminds me to call the office with any problems or questions..and he does get the message. The office staff is outstanding. I truly believe that he has my best interest at heart. He is extremely concerned with increasing the quality of your life.

Dr. Brown is a caring, gentle OB/GYN. She explains everything, answers all questions, doesn't rush, and also explains your options if you are facing a health issue. I trust her completely, her nurse is
great also. I've only had a few Drs over the years that I respect this much.
Whether it's my annual checkup or having an abdominal hysterectomy, she was wonderful and supportive. My husband has come for some of my appt around my surgery and he thinks highly of her also.

I have IC and was diagnosed 10 years ago with very little help. If I watch my diet. I have few problems. As I have aged, more difficulties have occured. Living in New Mexico, I have found very few doctors who understand this disease. I actually pulled his name out of the phone book after moving here and have NEVER regretted it. He is very knowledgeable with new treatments, kind hearted, and understanding of my pain and bladder issues. He spends quality time, listening to all aspects of my problems. He's a GREAT doctor who has put me back in remission.

Dr. Towsley is just plain "AWESOME" He is so kind and caring to each and everyone of his patients. You never feel rushed when you are with him, he truly takes his time with you and your needs. I have been a patient of his for over 4 years now.
Dr Towsley is a Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was the one who delivered my second baby, and also my doctor to give me a hysterectomy. Dr. Towsley personally calls all his own patients after surgery and for follow ups. I have referred him to several of my friends and family and all have come out with a thank you for me reffering him. Some of my friends have even said they wish they would have met him sooner.
I want to also mention that he has a wonderful staff, from the nurses all the way down to the front desk clerks, as I know this is important as well as the doctor.
Doctor Towsley and his staff could not improve in any other way as I see it.
