After years of female problems, I found Dr. Heywood by researching op/gyn docs on the internet after I had moved back to WV from Northern VA. I had already had every test imaginable done, so after reviewing my record, Dr. Heywood agreed with my previous dr's opinion of hysterectomy.
He is a very patient, caring, and willing to listen to his patients to make sure all routes of treatment have been tried before surgery is suggested as option.
I highly recommend him (and I have to many of my personal friends) to any woman having problems or just looking for a wonderful op/gyn.
i just want to said: He is a good doctor, I went to his clinic after I delivered my baby, because I got i thing melasma, and prescribed an special cream for that (T....A), after two weeks my face looks very nice. i want to said thanks Dr. Berman.
When all other doctors simply assumed my son, Erik was just lazy or school-phobic, Dr. Canfield stuck to it and tested Erik until he got an answer to why Erik was always sick and so tired. Little did we know Erik's inability to wake up was due to his intolerance to sugar, and he was actually having small sugar comas! We owe Erik's life to Dr. Canfield's sincerity in caring for his patients and to his professional integrity.
I recommend this doctor because he actually listens to my concerns. The other doctors I've tried don't seem to care, or take me seriously, when I spoke to them. I've tried several doctors about my situation and they basically brushed me off, or told me it was all in my head.
He's always friendly, comforting and very experienced. His special interests are: general OB/GYN, robotic surgery, gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic surgery, and laparoscopic hysterectomy.
Maybe he could spend a little more time with his patients.
I had the LAVH surgery for large fibroids, large uterus, and spotting, or abnormal bleeding, after menopause, and the painful cramps I was experiencing.

He has been my Dr. for over 18 yrs and i would never see another. Now he is taking care of my daughter through her pregnancy. He has the best bedside manners and good sense of humor as well as personality. I feel he is not only my Dr. but a friend as well.
I absolutely LOVE Dr Horlacher and miss him horribly since I recently got my tubes tied. Dr Horlacher delivered ME as well as my three kids who are beautiful and healthy!! He has made me feel like his friend, not a patient. He has delivered, tied my tubes and also did a outpatient surgery on me. He is there caring for me and holding my hand through it all!!! I love all of his staff too!! I seriously miss being pregnant cause I dont get to go to his office!!! I would recommend him to ANYONE, anytime. I was referred by my mom. :)

I was Dr. Accetta's patient for many, many years while living in Southern California. I was referred to him originally from a lady in my women's bible study who thought he hung the moon. She wasn't exaggerating.
I currently live in Dallas Texas and have NEVER found someone so communicative, compassionate, thorough, gently, and understanding since! (emphasis added)
My last treatment was needing a hysterectomy, which I was very torn apart by it. I hadn't had children and so wanted them. Obviously requiring this procedure was very traumatic, I was in the middle of maritial difficulties, plus I had visions that I would have this horrible scar from hip to hip like many of my other friends did. Dr. Accetta was sooooo gentle and caring during the entire ordeal. I can't tell him with enough gratitude and deep, deep, appreciation how much that meant to me! I and my family and friends have been patients of Dr. Hyde for many years. I have known many neurologists over the years and he is one I would recommend above all. He is a brilliant, qualified physician who is a caring person as well. He spends a lot of time with his patients, is understanding and treats the total person and not just the disease or disorder you are seeing him for. He is truly an amazing physician and above all a wonderful person. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen for about 3 months and have had many visits and tests done in her office. I just had extensive surgery by her 1 week ago. She is without a doubt the best physician/surgeon I have ever experienced. She is not only an excellent, experienced surgeon, but a truly caring person and physician. She answers all your questions, gives you the alternatives of treatment for your condition and takes the time and patience you need to understand everything you need to make a decision about your particular treatment. She is professional, yet gives you personalized care and attention - a rarity in this time of U.S. managed health care which is run by insurance companies. I am married to a doctor and have many years experience with the medical world. My husband referred me to Dr. Pierson for weight loss - I must say after a month of seeing her, I have: lost 15 pounds, lots more energy, and very impressed with her expertise! She prescribed me phentermine (which help with my hunger), currently working on lifestyle skills, and my weekly B12 shots really boost my energy level. I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Corning. She is the most caring, gentile and kind doctor that I have ever had. She really takes the time to listen to what you are saying, never making you feel hurried or insignificant in your care. She is also very professional and she knows her business. Dr. Corning performed a robotic assisted da Vinci hysterectomy on me and after 2 weeks I was feeling great and back to work. Her staff is also exceptional, always smiling and happy and helping you in any and every way they can. Even her office is a beautiful, kinder place to be in a usually uncomfortable but necessary place for every woman. I recommend her for any woman needing Gynecology care.

Fantastic doctor and great staff. He's been there 20 years. I feel welcome and well cared for every time I go there. He's done right by me. Best of all, I don't need an appointment if I'm sick. He takes walk in patients all the time unlike other doctors who make you wait a week or more to be seen. When I was really ill, he saw me that same day and treated my pneumonia aggressively, sent me for very affordable xrays (I have no insurance) and was able to keep me out of the hospital. The antibiotics he used were FREE at the local pharmacy! WOW & THANKS.

I would recommend Dr. Mig to anyone in the area! He was wonderful with my daughter. She had a horrible accident and was lucky enough to have had Dr. Mig at the hospital when she came in. Considering she is only a child he did his best to respect her privacy and made her feel comfortable having such a delicate area under discussion. He is wonderful! Thank you Dr. Mig!
