Best Dr. I have ever been to! Great surgical staff too! Surgery went off without a hitch. Had complete Hysterectomy without any problems and was only in the hospital 1 night. If you are looking for a GYN/ONC in the Tacoma area, you need to go see this guy!
Surgery was on June 9, 2010. I have the normal pain, but no complications or problems as of yet. Some slight bruising which is to be expected. I have heard horror stories of others hysterectomies, yet I guess mine so far is a walk in the park and I would mainly state it is because of the doctor. Dr. Shipman was also there in the surgery, not wanting to leave her out of the picture either. Highly recommend them both.
I came to Dr. Kilian after recieving treatment from another doctor who did not thoroughly investigate my problems and/or pain. In tears in his office I recieved warmth and comfort and an honest promise to make me feel better! Upon investigation Dr. Kilian discovered several problems and a problem caused by a previous procedure from above said doctor. He schedule a LAVH. Though he said it would be easier to go through my privious c-section scar but that he wanted me to be in as little pain as possible and decided to go the extra mile and do it right! Surgery was scheduled for June 4th 2010 and right on time surgery began. Next day in the hospital he came to see me even though it was his weekend off!!! I was really impressed with that and am now a week into recovery and feel better than I did before the surgery!! He is an amazing man and even more of an amazing doctor! I highly recommend Dr. Steven Kilian in Dayton Ohio!!!!!!
DR. Szlatenyi is a physician at the Kentucky County Wound Care center. He treats people with chronic wounds, due to injury, diabetes, etc. This is a horrifying position for a patient, but Dr. Steve always manages to make you laugh and keeps your mind off the wound care that he is providing, which is often quite painful. He even researched my condition on his time, to better understand and treat my wounds. I didn't think I would ever heal some of the ulcers, as they were so large and deep. He never failed to not only heal me, but impress me with his manner as well. This man is a gifted doctor and goes well beyond normal patient care. I highly recommend Dr. Szlatenyi to anyone in need of any kind of wound care.

This doctor, a podiatrist, does outstanding work and gives outstanding care. He saved me from losing my left foot to bone infection. His manner with patients is like visiting a friend, as he makes you very comfortable in his presence, even making me laugh in the midst of a bad situation. He is very knowledgable and willing to explain your issue in detail with you. Simply an exceptional doctor.

Dr. Mary D. Bush is a wonderful doctor. I have been with her for about 20 years, she has delivered both of my sons who are now 18 and 15. She is excellent in her field and is extremely knowlegeable and takes the time to discuss any concerns. She makes you feel at ease and comfortable and helps you take your mind off of what you came in there for. She is personable and friendly. She has a pleasant and quiet office and her staff is friendly and personable.
I recommend this doctor for a hysterectomy. I had a hysterectomy. This doctor is an OBGYN. She wrote down everything I said to keep in my file, details are important. Her office has the ability to do ultrasounds. I feel comfortable in her office.

Dr. Seidel is an amazing, excellent doctor. He's friendly, trustworthy, extremely intelligent, and knows what he's doing. He listens to you and answers questions with complete answers, and when you're with him, it's like you and your problems are the only things he thinks about. He's never distracted and always gives you his full attention. He doesn't just have an excellent bedside manner, he also is very competent. He really knows his stuff and is very thorough. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Balat is awesome. I too had cyst and was down about the idea of having surgery. Because I am overweight, the other doctor recommended weight loss surgery before she could remove the cyst. Then she wanted to cut me down the center of my belly. I was so upset by this, I waited until I was near death before seeking help elsewhere. Dr. Balat was recommended to me and he let me know that he could do the surgery with no problem laproscopically. He is so kind and gentle. He explains everything and he urges you to ask questions so that you will know everything. I would recommend Dr. Balat to anyone and I credit him for giving me a new life. It has been almost two years and I feel GREAT!

A family friend recommended Dr. Bell to me over seven years ago. I have had a bunionectomy on both feet and most recently, a bone spur operation, each with great results. Dr. Bell is a wonderful doctor. He is very kind, caring and personable. He’s thorough in answering questions, timely with his appointments and has a wonderful staff.
I highly recommend Dr. Jason Bell. You’ll be pleased, I’m sure!

Caring, well-informed, good at explaining things. I attend conferences with him twice a week and watch his team approach (I am not affiliated with him but refer patients to him and Dr. Patel).
I have been seeing Dr. Maccato for over 10 years. He was key in my decision to have a hysterectomy. In fact, he slowed this process down by several years to make sure it was the correct decision. I am thankful for his willingness to talk over my options and answer all my questions as we worked together to optimize my health! His calm, caring manner and excellent skills in OB/GYN are the reason he has been voted one of Houston's top doctors in his field several times. I highly recommend Dr. Maccato. his specialties are high risk births and dealing with infectious disease related to the reproductive organs.
I had a Laproscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy on 5/24/10. Dr. Anding and his staff did a great job of answering my post op questions! Dr. Anding was recommended because he specializes in laproscopic ob/gyn procedures. I was very nervous about this surgery and thankful that Dr. Anding took the time to answer my questions in a direct and honest manner. I also appreciate that he walked me through the procedure at my 2 week postop appointment so that I could understand what he found and see for myself the pictures of my fibroids, uterus etc.
Dr. Mensah has something that a lot of doctors lack in this day and age of modern medicine: a bedside manner. Throughout the time I've been his patient, he's been able to keep me calm and to relieve any anxieties I've had; even if the news isn't so great. He's quick to smile and has a quiet, polite disposition. Very kind eyes and gentle hands. He listens to his patients! I don't think I can say enough about what a great doctor he is!
For any and all gynocological or obstrectic needs, I'd recommend Dr. Mensah. He performed a hysterectomy on me.
I recommend Dr. Ivery because she makes you feel very comfortable at a time when that is the last thing your expecting. Her office is very welcoming and relaxing along with all her staff and they are always there to answer your questions.
