I will never forget Dr. Stanhope! He saved my life and made it possible for me to be able to see my children grow up. I really do not believe I would be here today without such a gifted doctor. I was diagnosed with stage 4, level 4, cancer. He not only performed my surgery but was persistant that chemo be started immediately.
As a person, he is very honest, caring, and friendly. He really is a wonderful person and doctor!
Thank you Dr. Stanhope!!!! I think of you everyday, every hug I am able to give my children, you are my mind! It's been almost two years now...... I was very blessed to have you as my doctor!

I am 27 years old and have suffered many symptoms for several years which no other doctor would even help me with. She took me into her office and within one visit had me scheduled for blood work, ultrasound, then after that I returned to her for the results, I then had to under go a lapraoscopy and she found endometriosis and a tumer. I will be going in for a hysterectomy on april17th 2007 and couldn't be more grateful to have found a doctor who really listens and supports your descions! She gave me all the choices I had and let me decide which one was best for me and my family! I would reccomend her to everyone in Michigan!

Dr Foster was the second Surgeon I went to see when I found out I needed a Hysterectomy. I went for a second opinion and boy am I glad I did, He was wonderful ! Answered all my questions and even discovered a problem (tilted uterus) that no other Dr had told me about in the 12 years I had been going to Gyn's. He was a amazing surgeon, left a very tiny scar and has a wonderful bedside manner. He still answers all my questions and concerns post op and explains everything very well. I have been to around 6-8 OBGYN's in my life and He is by far the best in the Las Vegas area I highly recommend Him to any of my Hystersisters, you won't be sorry. Oh and His office and staff are all very friendly and helpful, its a joy going in to see them all. Dr. Turner is His partner and She too is a wonderful Dr.

My first surgery was botched - he repaired it and has been my doctor ever since. He is honest, upfront and very open. I have had many different issues, and he has helped me through every one of them. He is firm with me (I need to loose weight and ease up on stress), but still knows how to laugh and put me at ease.

I was having heavy, abnormal monthly bleeding, but my doctor decided my symptoms were simply "age-related hormone issues" and did not run any tests nor try to "fix" my problem. After a few months, I went to see Dr. Bareddy. She immediately ordered several tests, and because of these tests, she discovered a totally separate problem in addition to my original issue (which was not hormone related after all).
She is very conscientious and caring. She welcomes questions and ensures I understand her answers. She's a great listener and she's also available by email!! I am recommending Dr. Bareddy because she is a very thorough physician.

I decided on a fairly new(to our area) type of Hysterctomy- a DaVinci robotic assisted lap . Dr. Buchsbaum took the time to explain in detail exactly what would transpire during the procedure, and when it took longer than expected, was wonderful to my worried husband- she calmed his fears and answered all his questions without hesitation.
Also- I absolutely adored her nurse/receptionist Linda- she's one of the nicest people I've ever come across in my health journies!

She LISTENS! That is the most important thing to start off with. She took the time to get to know me and discuss the problem before throwing out a diagnosis to treat the symptom.
I ended up having to have surgery to repair my partial hysterectomy, but only after other options were discussed and discarded. She was there from start to finish, answering any questions before and after surgery.
She is by far one of the best doctors I have EVER had!

I would like to recommend Nicole Dean as an outstanding gynecologist and surgeon. She is a ob/gyn and surgeon with the Park Nicollet organization (www.parknicollet.com). She recently moved from the Burnsville clinic to the main clinic in St. Louis Park. Nicole Dean has that rare combination of knowledge, enthusiasm, compassion, gentleness and genuineness not often found together in a physician. When I first began looking for a doctor to address my needs, I became frustrated with doctors who were very clearly specializing in delivering babies. The pain and dysfunction caused by my failing uterus seemed as important to me as a uterus about to give life, yet it was hard to find a doctor who felt that way. Nicole may very well be busy delivering babies, but I have never once been interrupted by a pager or phone calls during any of our appointments. In a day and age when everything is rushed, she carefully explained all of my options for treatment and thoroughly covered all of the details.
I was presenting symtoms of Adenomyosis and we tried a less invasive procedure first, a Novasure ablation. I had no complications and the followup care from her was excellent. Unfortunately, that treatment failed(due to my adenomyosis) and I saw her again to discuss what the next step would be. I ended up having a Hysterectomy in March and again, her followup was thorough and gentle. A hysterectomy is the only cure for Adeno and you can't know for sure you have it until the uterus is out.
I trust Dr. Homafar to always tell things like they are and to be my advocate when I need it. She is very knowledgable and up to date with the latest treatment options.

I started seeing Dr. Papov 6 or 7 years ago. When I switched to her practice I was made to feel very comfortable right from the start. She sat with me and asked questions about my overall health and problems that I was having. We actually found the diagnosis for the problems that I was having. My previous doctor made me feel as though I was making up my problems.
I would recommend Dr. Papov and her patient to anyone that is looking for a GYN...
She is a real down to earth person who listens to you the patient.
I will have a very difficult time describing just how much Dr. Smrekar means to me. I believe it was his years of experience and knowledge that played a large part in saving my life when I had uterine cancer. He is very upbeat and usually makes me laugh at least once a visit. He always makes me feel as if I'm the most important person in the world and that making sure I'm healthy is his priority. To my friends, I've compared him to "Marcus Welby".
