Liposuction Is A Treatment For Obesity

In the context of consultation for a body contouring procedure I am frequently asked: “How many pounds will I lose?” Conventional wisdom suggests that this is a bad prognostic sign. Traditional teaching and custom holds that liposuction is NOT a treatment for obesity. Patients focused on pounds and not appearance are not supposed to be good candidates for cosmetic surgery. I felt comfortable with Dr. Walker from the first day I met her. That day was the day I insisted on having a hysterectomy. I had usually seen the NP's for my visits, and I believe it was meant to be that I was scheduled to see her that day. I have a very lengthy gynecological history and it was set in my mind when I walked in that day that I was was done trying every procedure, pill, etc. She looked at my history, talked with me, and just a couple weeks later I had the surgery. Dr. Walker has the best office and bedside manner. She was very clear in explaining what would happen, genuinely kind, and I trusted her completely. My husband just met her twice, pre and post op, and he really liked her and trusted her. I have had experiences with MD's who didn't listen to what I was saying and made me feel like my struggle wasn't real. Not Dr. Walker. I recommend her to anyone!

Dr Williams was just great. We tried to conceive for our second child for almost three years. We moved from California and we did go to a fertility clinic there for three years... In California all they cared about was money and nothing else. Luckily we moved to Houston and started seeing Dr Williams and here we are with twins in 6 months and we were able to do it with our insurance. The staff was always very friendly with us and so was all the doctors in the clinic. Dr Williams exactly pointed out the problem and were able to help not just with one but twins:) .
