It is very said that Dr. Yu is no longer working where she was. I hope that I might be able to find her somehow and continue being her patient. After moving to a new home, I too drive out of my way just so I can continue to see her. I do hope that nothing bad has happened to her. She is the best doctor I've ever had.

I have seen Dr Moalli (urogyne) on consult. She is very competent, kind, caring, compassionate & empowers patients to make the best informed clinical decision for themselves. Dr. Moalli "goes the extra mile" to make certain patients have ALL the information needed regarding their health & to become an active & informed consumer in their care.

I recently learned via my pharmacist that Maggie will be opening her own practice. Since this is third party information and I have no way to verify it, take it for what it's worth to you.
If this is true, Maggie would need to quickly ramp up her patient base. That would be her first challenge. She can't simply contact her existing patients as this violate any professional relationship she had with her former employer. She can however spread the word in a general way not specific to any patient list. I've been in a similar situation myself and was threatened with a law-suit if I attempted to contact customers of my previous employer directly.
There is that other thing called "location" that would also play into a successful business start-up. Again, not knowing the facts at this time makes all I've said here just speculation. I hope to learn more from some of my friends and contacts and I'll post it as I hear it.

I have been going to Dr. Bishop since I was a teenager. About 13 years now. He is so nice, he really makes you feel comfortable in a situation all women dread. He is VERY professional and knowledgable. I would never think of going to anyone else. I hope when I decide to have children he will be my doctor.

Dr McCain completed a Lap Scope and full abdominal Hysterectomy on me. She is a great doctor with a lot of experience. My scaring was minimized. She is polite and very straight forward. She will tell you how it is and what you need to do to fix it. If you don't mind a little harshness but straightforwardness, she is the best OB/GYN in town. I like that quality in a Dr. She could be a little more sympathetic, but I don't think that always makes a good doctor.

I am compelled to write about the amazing experience we had with Dr Zimberg and his entire caring staff and that of the Cleveland Clinic Weston Florida.
My almost 93yr old mother was diagnosed on Nov.13 with cancer.S he was sent to a gyn/oncologist who biopsied her in his office, which left her in pain for days, we were still waiting for final pathology .
It was not until i pleaded with moms primary to please get us results and a second opinion with Dr.Zimberg since it is now Dec. and all the doctors wanted her to begin radiation immediately,and we still had no conclusive results.
with all of the frustration, i sought out help at the Cleveland clinic, explaining my situation, i was able to get an appt. with Dr. Zimberg the following week.
Today we met with this wonderful caring doctor. which is rare in the day and age of the way medicine has become big business.and little to do with compassion for a human life.The Dr, and his staff gave such personal caring treatment.it was hard t... [More..]

I opened my mail on 12/8/07, read the first lines of a letter sent by the Sherwood Clinic and felt an icy grip around my heart. My beloved and trusted doctor was gone.
Dr. Yu and I have come a long way together. When she learned of problems I was having with another doctor at the clinic, she asked to have me assigned to her. Allow me to point out that the doctor I was unhappy with is still there. Also this doctor is the only doctor I have ever complained about.
Maggie believes in her patients and really fights for them, perhaps that is why she is no longer there. Quite frankly, I don't know how I will carry on. Without her, I think I'd be dead by now.
I have to stay with Providence for this next year so I can't follow her at this time. Perhaps that is why they (Sherwood Clinic) let her go now. All of us on Medicare only have until 12/31/07 to make a switch.
At the moment, no one knows where she is, but we are looking for her!

Dr. Mansuria made me very relaxed with my decision to have a hysterectomy. From easing my anxieties in pre-op to singing with me in the OR to calling to check in on me, he made me feel like a real person, not just a patient.

I was a patient of "Dr. T" about the same time Rose was a patient. He is truly a gifted physician who understands the work of a healer. It probably would not sit well with him if I said he is holistic -- so I will say he has compassion and love for his patients and understands that both the patient and doctor work together to bring about healing. He quickly creates a bond and you both know what the results will be. You will be fine. Truly amazing. And Rose, I celebrated my 61st birthday and I am confident there will be many more -- for both of us.

I was recommended to this doctor by a friend, I have been friends with this woman throughout her treatment with Dr. Zaidan and she always raved about how nice everyone in the office was and how the doctor was always straightforward with her. When my own doctor cut his hours and moved, I could no longer see him. I went to Dr. Zaidan for my annual exam and both the staff and the doctor were very helpful and up front about what was needed, why and what to expect. I found out after I went to see him that I have a few more friends who see him, all of whom think the whole office is wonderful! The fact that they can do the ultrasounds and the urodynamics in the office is also a bonus, you don't have to schedule them separate somewhere else and the doctor gets the results immediately.

Dr. Kilkenny is one of the most empathetic doctors I have ever met. She takes time to actually listen to you. You may have to wait a little longer than your appt time, but that is because she takes her time. She explores all options. She does not just tell you what to do, but asks your opinion and explains all diagnosises and medications and how they will effect you. She is a person first and then a doctor.

Dr. Bury was my ob/gyn for 3 of my 4 daughters. Having had the experience of one other physician it was like a world of difference with Dr Bury. He was very upfront about different stages in the pregnancies and always able to answer any and every question I had for him. He has a teddy bear effect on his patients and is very gentle and comforting. I would recommend him as a physician to anyone I know. I can't imagine having a better person there at those critical times in my life. He was always a welcoming and familiar face to our family.

I wanted to share with you a little bit about my Dr. His name is Dr. R. A. Pastoriza. He is the most amazing doctor i have ever gone to. I was very scared when I went to him the first time but from the moment he first spoke to me he made me feel so comfortable. He talked me thru the exams and he gave me all the information for my first surgery in 2005. Removal of Fibroid Cysts. He showed me pics of them and showed me a short video before the surgery. He smiles a lot and really makes you feel comfortable. Hes very personable.(a warm and caring attitude) On 11/30/07 he performed my Full Hysterectomy. I am thankful for the results and for his expertise in this area. Anyone in the Jackson area seeking a kind, warm hearted, patient doctor who is very well trained should seek him at Woman First Health Services of Jackson Foote Hospital.

Dr. DiPasquale is an excellent doctor. I've been seeing her for over 4 years. She treats you as a friend and a doctor. I have total confidence in her skills. She listens. She was my OB through 2 pregnancies and some fertility issues. She didn't deliver my babies because the first time I had prolonged labor and she had to leave, and the second time she went on maternity leave. The practice is nice and small, so you can get familiar with all the docs there. They are all very good. I recommend Dr. Clinton as a back up.
The only negative is you often have to WAIT a long time.
Dr. Cheryl Franklin has been my doctor for over 10 years. She is AWESOME. Very compassionate, SHE LISTENS!!!! She's has a positive attitude and a good heart.
She is an excellent doctor for the following reasons:
feel comfortable being examine by her; she explains in detail what’s going on with your body;she give you options when face with medical decisions; she is thorough;PATIENCE; and follow through on commitments in a timely manner. She is not just my doctor, she is part of my family. She is my primary gyn doctor, she has been my surgeon. I HIGHLY recommend her, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
