Dr. Popat has been my dr for quite a few years now. In 2004, he delivered my daughter. He was beyond awesome and I swear that he was almost as excited about her birth as we were! He was celebrating in the waiting room with our family and climbed onto my bed to give me a hug of congratulations!! That same year, he preformed my tubal ligation. Now in 2008, he preformed my vaginal hysterectomy. My uterus was prolapsed and he discussed all options with me and gave me a chance to decide what I wanted. He was fabulous before and after the surgery and I have the utmost respect for him. Anyone looking for a smart and honest ob/gyn, look no further.

Dr. Durkee is a uniquely excellent physician. His stregnths are his medical knowledge and the capacity to diagnose and develop an excellent plan of care. He is especially good at explaining his findings and what they mean. He is excellent in describing various ways to approach a medical problem and working with a patient to choose a plan of care. He is very supportive of a patient's decision and works very well with patient's and respects their wishes and choices.

I had fibroids in the past that I was told to watch. I have been to a few different Gynocolgists through the years, as I have moved a few times. This is the first time I really felt a doctor so well-versed in women's medical issues concerning the reproductive organs...
and so concerned with my own well-being. This is a Doctor who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that your health and wellness is not overlooked. I had enlarged ovaries and fibroids that needed to be addressed. He made it a point to take care of it asap. He is a Doctor that is skilled in this field, that I felt that I could trust him to make the right decision to do the right thing. And that he did! I've never been so much better off than the day I had my surgery. Today is the beginning of the first day of my life. I was sceptical at first, but I reassure you...you will be in good hands.
I would like to thank Dr. Hayes from the bottom of my heart for what she has done for me. Since she preformed my partial hysterectomy surgery in May of this year I've never felt better in all of my adult life.
While it was a hard decision to have the hysterectomy because of the sense of loss and the 6 to 8 week recovery time from a major surgery, you really made me feel at ease describing the procedure using the da Vinci Robotic Surgery method instead of the traditional hysterectomy method. What a difference! What was even more amazing is Dr. Hayes gave me the opportunity to view the video of my surgery. I found that so interesting and amazing.
Because of the size of my uterus my recovery was slightly longer at about 4 weeks, but I was up and out of bed in just one day! That was amazing. I had no real pain at all from my incisions; the only discomfort was my internal organs settling back into new space.

Dr. Dress has the most awesome bedside manners, listens to her patients, and demonstrates a positive, caring attitude. I couldn't recommend a better physician! She performed my tubal several months ago and will be performing my hysterectomy. She is extremely thorough in her evaluations and explains fully what she thinks needs to happen next, and all of the potential outcomes.

I met Dr Stephens in 2005. I had been suffering from depression, fatigue, lack of concentration and embarrassingly loud snoring. Doctors misdiagnosed me on several occasions because of my age, gender and small frame. Finally, after seeking treatment for the snoring, a sleep study revealed severe sleep apnea. I was immediately fitted with a CPAP machine and I was told that that was the only successful treatment. The CPAP was big, loud and I always unconsciously took it off my face at night. I ended up just as sleep deprived with the CPAP as I was without it. I asked several doctors about surgery. They told me about procedures that cut the palate and the tongue. These procedures had a low rate of success and complications so I kept searching. I looked into this new study electric pulses and I looked at an orthodontic device. Nothing sounded promising. Dr Valaitis is an Asso Professor of Obstetrics/Gynecology and Section Chief Gynecology/Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been in practice for almost twenty years. Her Specialtity is Urogynecology. She is affiated with the University of Chicago. Dr Valaitis was highly recommended to me by a good friend. She was able to repair my vesicovaginal fistula and my bowel.
She did not go in to only repair the obvious problems, she looked for any others and also took care of them. Her associate is also very capable and nice. I felt I was in good hands.
She is friendly and personable, and very knowledgable. She set me at ease from the first meeting. I was very impressed and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing these services.

I made the mistake of not going for my yearly for 3 years. I went in to see Dr Rose and explained some problems that I was having and he wasted no time scheduling the follow up tests. After finding the problem he took the time to sit down with me in his office and go over any options and what his opinion was. He answered questions honestly and told me that he wanted the same for his patients as he did for his family. I trust this man and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a gynecologist or obstetric care!!!
Dr Breaux is a GREAT, WONDERFULL Dr.....as a patient, he took care of me, answered all my questions..he;s funny, nice as can be, very careing about his patients. My opinion...He always mad me laugh when he would come in chewing gum..& being funny!!!! Great DR. !!!!!

Dr. Sullivan and Dr. Dellacroce at the Center for Restorative Breast Surgery are the most kind and compassionate doctors I have ever met. They have limited themselves to only breast reconstruction and they are wonderful at it. Most any woman facing the thought of a mastectomy is heartbroken over their loss of their breasts. These two wonderful doctors give back to us what was taken away.
Bedside manner, compassion, thoughtfulness. They are a true blessing to any woman who has had to go through the nightmare of a mastectomy.
I highly recommend them.
PS. I traveled from Tampa, Florida for my reconstruction. Don't let your distance from their practice dissuade your decision to travel away from home for your surgery. They help you find accommodations and provide travel to and from office visits and hospital stay.

I highly recommend Dr.M.Wetzler for the best care a patient could receive. Dr.Wetzler is caring, friendly and listens to his patients. I have had knee and shoulder surgery and could not have gotten through them without Dr.Wetzler helping me through from start to finish. His offices and surgical center staff are also some of the finest people I have met, always making sure the patients needs come first. I would recommend Dr.Wetzler to anyone who wants the best orthopedic care possible.

He delivered my twins in 2003 through a C-Section. I developed a severe complication called HELLP Syndrome. He was always very concerned about my condition and very comforting. He really seemed to care about me. At that time I was living in the US even though I am from Costa Rica and I will never forget him. He was always cheerful and friendly but trutworthy at the same time. My C-section scar is almost inexistant, it is a very fine line that you can barely see. I am very thankful for his job and I remind him every Xstmas of how thankful I am.

I went to Dr.Teicher when I was a teenager (5 or 6 years ago) and he was the best OB/GYN doctor I have had since. I had an outpatient surgical procedure done and I was extremely nervous but he put me at ease and everything went great! He made me feel comfortable and he wasn't condescending like some doctors are. I have recommened him to many people. My sister is now his patient and she loves him! If your looking for a comforting, friendly, down to earth & extremely professional OB/GYN doctor he is your guy!
