I first became a patient w/Dr. Megremis when he was still practicing at Carmel Obstetrics and Gynecology about 2 years ago. After dealing with other OB/Gyn's who didn't understand what was going on with me, or treat me with respect & compassion, his understanding of my problems & concerns was a breath of fresh air.

He's always believed me. He's helped me understand what I could do &/or look forward to. Never once has he "sugar coated" things to me--he's been very honest & straightforward w/out rudeness or anything of the sort.

When he moved to his current practice at South Charlotte Ctr For Gynecology & Pelvic Surgery, I gladly have continued to see him (good doctors like him are too few & too far between).

When it came to surgeries (1 laproscopy & eventual hysterectomy for endometriosis), he gave both my husband & I a clear understanding of what was going on & what to look forward to. He even suggested places my husband should apply to when my husband was looking for a new job! This was when we talked about my coming (at that time) hysterectomy. Not many dr's these days will be so helpful like that.

I'd recommend him to anyone who needs to go thru surgery or just as a general ob/gyn. He knows his stuff VERY well.
