After two years of trying to conceive (TTC) on our own--both DH & me in our mid-thirties--we began seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE) in Indianapolis. Things were moving along okay with DR.X, until we asked the doctor about freezing any extra embryos we might produce. DR.X explained that he was against that option. So, we asked for a referral from him for another doc who would try all the options available to us. DR.X, without hesitation, sent us to DR. MAC, and we never looked back!

Dr. Mac, Miss Kristi, Miss Wilma, and ALL of the other wonderful folks that work with Dr. Mac made a classically stressful TTC time, a little more tolerable, and much more hopeful. After several options had not worked for us within the first year… Dr. Mac didn’t want to ‘mess around’ anymore, so he put us on the track for an In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) . . . and we knocked the first one outta the park!

Five days before my 40th birthday--what a birthday gift!--I had an 8lb.3oz. “wild child” little boy who is now in 6th grade and taking all advanced classes! At no time did Dr. Mac hesitate to tell us the truth (good or bad), the statistics (favorable or unfavorable) nor did he ever avoid admitting he ‘did not know’ something. Trust me, most docs have a very difficult time saying, ‘I don’t know,’ (I am married to one!)

Nearly 12 years later, I still see Dr. Mac. If insurance won't cover a visit, then my DH and I set-up some sort of payment schedule. Having a great doc--who literally knows my body inside and out--is more important than playing the health insurance company's games. BTW, most insurers work happily with Dr. Mac, ours is just a pain in the a$$.

Tomorrow, Dr. Mac is performing a hysterectomy on me. This was a decision not arrived at easily. This decision was made after more than a YEAR of struggling with various less-invasive or non-invasive options to control my extremely heavy menses. But, it is time. I trust our decision. I have seen Dr. Mac for over 12 years, he helped us bring our child into the world, and I intend to continue to see Dr. Mac with any other gynecological needs I may have over the years.

I am 30. I tried to have a baby for three years before finding Dr. McLaughlin on the internet. The review said they'd wasted time and money at Midwest Fertility and recommended going straight to Dr. Mac. I wholeheartedly agree. My first visit yielded a diagnosis and a surgery date. I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Endometriosis, and uterine polyps; all of which individually prevent pregnancy. While my husband ended up being completely infertile, I was ready. Other circumstances lead to a divorce. But with a ready body and a determined mind, I searched for my next husband. I found an amazing guy, better than I could ever hope for. We went off the pill for three weeks.. and bam! Pregnant. I am 3 months along. I cry when I look at my nursery, because every month for years, I never thought I'd ever see my own nursery. I am blessed and lucky to have met Dr. McLaughlin and his wonderful, knowledgeable, caring staff. I truly believe if I'd not had my correct diagnosis and surgery with him, I would have not had a chance. So, really, Dr. Mac got me pregnant. I hope he'll get you pregnant too!

A little more than a year ago, I was waiting in line to pick up my 4th grader from school. I felt horrible, not sick, just emotionally drained, tired, frustrated, irritated, like I was just going through the motions. I reciently seen an episode of Oprah that explained the importance of hormones and how we should take a closer look at our levels. This totally explained how I felt and I knew this was what I needed. I was discouraged when looking locally I couldn't find any Dr willing or able to help me with this. While waiting in line for my child, there was a radio ad for this Dr in Noblesville that sounded perfect. Now, usually Im not one to ever take a radio ad seriously, let alone take down their name and web address, but I did this time. For some reason,( I will always believe it was a God thing) I looked this Dr up on his website, liked what I seen and decided to call before I lost my nerve. THIS WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DONE. This Dr. , Dr David McLaughlin M.D. pulled me up from the depths of menopause and emotional cloudyness. He now helps men with their testosterone levels....Gals get your guys in their toooooo. I actually look forward to going to the GYNO, who would of guessed. I love his staff, and Kristie Marsella, N.P. My sister and several of my friends see him also.

I had 2 miscarriages before requesting to see a specialist. I am eternally grateful for being referred to Dr. Mac. I now have two sons, ages 4 and 6, and refer anyone and everyone I know with fertility concerns to Dr. Mac. If it can be done, he and his team will find a way. The folks in this office restored my faith in medicine; they take every family's situation personally.

After 3 miscarriage I was scared, hurt and almost out of hope. No one else seemed to know what to do. Fortunately, we moved to Indiana, 2 miles away from the only doctor that seemed to be able & confident that he could help. From the outset, I knew I was in the right hands.
On Day 1, we did all the tests to uncover the causes (WAY beyond what 5 other OBs had done.)
Within a month, we found the potential causes of the miscarriages (one on Day 1), then we took all the steps known to medicine to bring Braedon into this world (surgery, injections, and medication).
Within a few months I was pregnant again & we anxiously watched Braedon develop from Day 9 of conception to Week 17 before we were graduated back to the regular OB. He is now the healthiest, happiest 4 1/2 years old you could ever meet.

Furthermore, I have to say that I have never met a TEAM as empowered to stay on top of the latest research & findings, let alone be on the forefront of helping others overcome their fertility challenges. These are the hands you want to be in if you have lost hope....

I attribute the work of Dr. Mac & his amazing team for helping me avoid the deep pain of future recurrent miscarriages and the blessing of Braedon in our family. Our dear son is now 4 years old. He was the little sibling I couldn't seem to give to our older daughter Cameron.

- Thank you Dr. Mac

Dr. McLaughlin and his staff are EXTRAORDINARY. I went through IVF with Dr. Mac, and we were successful on our first try...with twins! Dr. Mac is kind, professional, and proactive in helping women deal with fertility issues. He is very attentive and has a wonderful bed side manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist dealing with women's health issues.

If you need any of the above services in the Indiana area, you want this doctor and staff. Besides the brilliant medicine he practices, you won't find a doctor of his caliber with a better bed-side-manner. He and his medical staff work beautiful together.
At two of my hospital stays, I have had nurses tell me, "if you want it done perfectly, you have the right doctor".
