Dr. Hess did my spinal fusion. (ACDF w/bone graft & plating.) I had immediate relief of my symptoms.
His bedside manner might seem a little rushed (wish he'd slow down a little)... but at least he's punctual. He doesn't keep you waiting. He expedited my surgery to accommodate my busy schedule and I really appreciated him doing that for me.
During my hospitalization, several staff commented that he'd be their pick for a neurosurgeon too, as his patients typically do very well. Hearing the nurses, x-ray techs, etc. say things like that made me feel good about my doctor choice too.
