In the dark I stepped into a manhole for reading a water meter in Baltimore City. My leg went down into the opening to mid thigh as I did the 'splits', trapping me at night in the hole.
I managed to get myself at least partially out of the hole, but because I had injured myself, I was unable to get up.
My husband found me and when I went to my internist, besides all the bruises and scrapes, I was having severe back pain.
My internist recommended Dr. Murray. I am a nurse, and believe that surgery should be avoided whenever possible. I was delighted when Dr. Murray suggested "we" attempt two facet blocks. Dr. Murray and I formed a therapeutic alliance. Dr. Murray was friendly and professional and showed me the evidence from the x-rays and scans that provided the basis for his clinical opinion and recommended treatment.
When I arrived in American Radiology for the block, the waiting room was filled with other patients waiting for their procedures with Dr. Murray. Many of these individuals had been seeing Dr. Murray off and on for years. Some of these people had already had back surgeries by other practitioners, but with inadequate relief of their debilitating pain. BUT, Dr. Murray had given them back their lives, minimized or eliminated their pain so they could lead fuller lives.
As a nurse, I found these testimonials impressive, but I'm something of a 'hard-sell'. However, I did not have to wait very long before I joined Dr. Murray's fan club. I feel like he is a miracle worker!!! and I'm not easily impressed with physicians in general.
Since then I have recommended him to friends, family, and acquaintances.
One friend was in agony, but perservered with his own neurosurgeon, enduring numerous painful procedures, only to have to continue to endure his painful back. Each time he complained, I gave him the contact information for Dr. Murray.
Finally, my friend went to see Dr. Murray. Dr. Murray administered facet blocks to my friend. Afterward, my friend also became a member of Dr. Murray's fan club, commenting, "If I had listened to you a year ago, I would have been out of pain a year ago! I should have listened then."
God Bless and Keep Dr. Murray!!! May he continue to serve mankind!
