Dr. Dooley was my life-saver. I was diagnosed with a pretty good size breast tumor (DCIS) in August of 2009. I was initially supposed to go have a unilateral mastectomy done by a general surgeon. I was not happy with that option. I researched and found Dr. Dooley's office. I called his office and within 3 days I had an appointment. Dr. Dooley ordered more tests for me because he said in his experience at my age that type usually is not just an "in situ". From those tests, I decided to go with a bilateral mastectomy. Sure enough, I had invasive breast cancer with lymph node involvement. Dr. Dooley was an exceptional surgeon, with exquisite bed manners, his staff is of the highest professionalism. I also had an axillary lymph node dissection performed by him a year later. He is overseeing my treatment even now.
I think he is the best surgical oncologist our state has. Not just his credentials speak for him, his whole expertise and attitude and caring show a professional who has dedicated his life to help women with breast cancer.
