Dr. Ballas was recommended to me after my Dr. retired. What a great move for me. Dr. Ballas is attentive and caring. It is nice to have Dr. that actually listens and shows how important you are as a patient to him.

I met with Dr. Ballas on my first pregnancy appointment at the office in Eldersburg. He was absolutely FANTASTIC. He was great to talk with, and very reassuring, he must of congratulated us five times on our pregnancy. I've seen one other Dr. in the practice and was NOT impressed at all. That Dr. was NOTHING like Dr. Ballas.

Hopefully one of the other Dr.'s in the practice are as wonderful as Dr. Ballas. :)

I love Dr. Ballas. He is an awesome doctor. He delivered my first child, induced me for my second but sadly had to miss the delivery due to an emergency surgery. He is setting up my induction date for my third child this week. I recommend him to anyone who ever asks who to go to. He is very understanding, compassionate and loving. The only way I will ever switch doctors is if he retires, and I dread that day!!!

Dr. Ballas delivered my first baby Feb 5. During the pregnancy I had to see all the doctors in the office. I found Dr. Ballas to be the most considerate and understanding. During my last few weeks, I had been dilating 1 cm each week with no labor. Dr. Ballas knew how impatient I was growing, and on my due date visit to the office decided since I was 4 cm dilated he would induce me and not make me wait. During the induction process, he was very kind to not only me but my husband and parents as well. He made my delivery very stress-free. He has the best bed side manner.

I would recommend Dr. Ballas he is an excellent surgeon. The only thing I would suggest is that there is more time for consultaion before surgery. I know it is a very busy office and therefore I feel rushed but overall I am satisfied in his care.

He is fantastic.

Usually, I'm scared to death of PAP smears. However, Dr. Ballas does not hurt you like most doctors. He's gentle and cheery. Wonderful doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Ballas for treatment of pelvic pain and evidence of fibroid tumors. I knew it was almost certain I'd be recommended for a hysterectomy, and was immediately impressed by Dr. Ballas' thoughtfulness in asking if I was mentally prepared to have one. The initial pain following surgery, the hospital stay, recovery time at home, inability to do things for myself, and missing work were largely on my mind, but I hadn't considered the emotional aspect. After a thorough explanation of the procedure, his cheery and kind reassurances that he was going to fix it and make me feel much better immediately earned my trust and comforted me. Post-op, I appreciate that he did not rush to prescribe hormone therapy. Dr. Ballas represents a rare combination of superb skill, honesty, kindness and thoughtfulness, and I enjoy his cheery personality.
