I haven't been seeing Dr. Barrere for very long but he has already performed a lap surgery on me back in Oct. 2011 which went perfectly. Went and seen him April 18th and was given the option of a hysterectomy because of all the pain and certain disorders I have experienced. I will be finding out soon the date of my hyst. And can say I am happy that he will be the one performing it. I would definitely recommend Dr. B to anyone he is the best gyn I have ever seen and he always makes sure to listen to what you have to say. Thanks Dr. B for being so great

I have gone to Dr. Barrere for various female reasons, but resently had to have a cytocele surgery. He has been such a good listener and never seems like he is in a hurry to finish up with me. His friendly, caring attitude helped to put me at ease with the surgery and recovery process. I would sure to recommend this fine doctor to others, as I felt that I was under the best of care with Dr. Barrere. One other thing that really stands out in my mind is his great Web Site. It is very full of information!

I went through a lot of different problems with my ovaries, periods, abnormal bleeding, and abnormal pap smears. Through it all Dr. Barrere was fantastic. He never seemed irritated with all my questions even when I called him at 11:00 at night. He was always understanding, patient, and comforting. I had been to other doctors for the same problems, and none of them seemed to be able to determine what was wrong with me.

When it came time to discuss other options, he brought my husband in and told us about different surgical options to help me. We decided a hysterectomy was best for me, and he encouraged me to get a second opinion, which I did.

Dr. Barrere performed by LAVH on 8.18.06, and the surgery went perfectly. I've had no problems since then, and would recommend Dr. B to anyone I know.
