I have known and been a patient of Dr. Dunn's for 17+ years. I have had extensive spinal surgery, my spine is fused from Thoracic T--5 to my Coccyx (tailbone) and I have two Titanium rods screwed to my vertebrae with 22 screws (2013). My problem begin with an injury in 1969, my first Spinal Fusion was in 1970---there have been numerous procedures since then. My pain level has fluctuated over the years and as part of my treatment I begin taking Epidural Steroid shots in my Lumbar area at Sacred Heart in about 1995. I believe it was around 1998 that Dr. Dunn started his practice in Eugene. I was one of his first patients and it was one of the finest meetings imaginable. Since he was just starting, business was slow and I had a chance to get to know Joseph Dunn personally not only as a Doctor but as a man. In all the years that I have been seeking treatment I have dealt with several doctors. Dr. Dunn has done more good for me than any Doctor I have had contact with in 40+ years. He suggested the Med-Tronic Pain pump which I first tried sometime in the early 2000's. I am now on my THIRD Pain Pump and as a part of my treatment it has helped to reduce my pain level tremendously. I cannot speak too highly of the quality medical treatment which he provides, the excellent people he has working for him and the fact that he listens to me and allows me to take part in my treatment.
Overall I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Joseph Scott Dunn as one of the finest Pain Specialists on the West Coast of the United States.
