I was Dr.Oepen's patient for the better part of 8 years. I only discontinued his help when I divorced and no longer had BC/BS. I personally have seen doctors for many years with no help. He was the first to actually seem to see me as a person, instead of dollar signs. When I was not better within a year of treatment I went to the internet to find other things to try for I would die without something different. I found E.C.T's(shock treatments). At first, he didn't like the idea and sent me on to a second and third evaluation. I had the treatments and for the first time in my whole life I felt somewhat normal. Unfortunately, I do not see him any longer because of insurance reasons but would see him if I should ever get the chance again.He is a excellent person and a even better doctor.
