I'm an RN myself so I have dealt with many MD's in my time and new I needed a female, for a female issue. I knew I probably needed a hysterectomy. I went thru my insurance to research available MD's in my area that were covered, found Dr MacMillan, researched her online a bit. Then called for an appt. I was very impressed with her bed side maner & personality. You need to be comfortable with your Physician/Surgeon & she definetely made me comfortable, listened to my story/problem, and discussed all my options (which were very limited). She was thorough & responsive to all my questioning & very knowledgable. I was not rushed thru any appt's. She returned calls I had on questions pre + Post-op and just called to check on me. I would highly recommend her to anyone. My Husband was also comfortable & confident in her as my choice.
