Have known Dr. Vidya Kini for many years both as a friend and co-worker. Her specialty is physiatry. She also was my mother-in-law's doctor when my MIL broke her leg in 8 places. Dr Kini works tirelessly for her patients, going to see them in hospitals or nursing homes late at night if necessary. She always has a kind word and a smile. She speaks with families honestly but with a great amount of empathy. She even attends funerals for people who work in the hospitals or nursing homes when they pass away, and yes, she cries. She is a fantastic mother to her daughter and is also involved in area community affairs. I am proud to call her my friend and would highly recommend her as a physian.
