I recommend Dr. Abernathy if you are dealing with anything female. She did a great job on my pelvic ultrasounds, exams, and uterine biopsies that I needed to confirm that I did indeed have endometrial cancer. She tried to make things as comfortable for me as possible, even though there was some discomfort with the procedures. She was very careful and thorough, wanting to make absolutely sure of things, taking no chances that she would make a mistake. She talked to me about things, explained them in detail, gave me every opportunity to talk, too, and ask questions. She has a very caring and gentle manner, and I was always comfortable with her. When I found out that she would be assisting Dr. Rozeboom with my total laparoscopic hysterectomy, I was very relieved and calmed. They both know what they are doing, and have done many surgeries. I appreciate having such a good doctor to help me through. And I am doing fine now, even though the surgery was done only 2 wks. and a couple of days ago. She is good, and very likeable.
