Did my hysterectomy/salpingectomy/ovarian cystectomy using the da Vinci minimally invasive technique. I left the hospital the SAME day, only too pain meds for about 48 hours for abdominal discomfort but never really experienced any acute pain. I am getting constant feedback from everyone "I can't believe you had surgery just a few days ago."
Dr. Kurtulus is recognized for being a leader in the da Vinci system and is also genuinely interested in providing women with effective, evidence-based options for improving their function and well-being. After originally being offered a more invasive surgery with 6-8 weeks recovery time, I am SO glad that I decided to go with Dr. Kurtulus. Being a nurse, I was skeptical when he predicted a simple recovery but now my only regret is that I put up with the horrible periods and anemia or longer than I needed to. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I was told I needed a hysterectomy and wanted to find a minimally invasive way to get through this surgery. I researched and by recommendation I found Dr. Kurtulus. I called his office and Bethany was prompt and treated me with the an understanding sense of urgency. I got an immediate appointment, his Nurse, Cindy is so caring, supportive and funny. She dimmed the lights when I wasn't feeling well and made me laugh when I was getting a painful test and took my mind off things. Dr. Kurtulus shocked me with his old fashioned bedside manner, he listened and didn't make you sit in the room to talk about your situation, he invites you into his office to have a conversation.
When I needed diagnostic testing, he performed them himself! I've never had an ultrasound that a doctor performed it was always a technician.
