Dr. Coppel is Board Certified in Pain Management, Fellowship Trained in Pain Management and Board Certified in Anesthesiology. I have been a patient of Dr. Coppel’s for over a year. I was hit by a drunk driver. I have fibromyalgia, a fusion in my neck and am in constant pain. Unfortunately by the time I was sent to Dr. Coppel I was extremely over medicated. I was losing my hair, my system was shutting down and I was becoming very suicidal. I hate to sound paranoid but I believe that the medications were slowly killing me. Dr. Coppel recognized it straight away. He slowly eased me off of those medications; all the while maintaining a level of pain relief that was manageable. I feel that he saved my life. Since then, my hair has stopped falling out, my system is back on track and I am not as depressed. I am still in constant pain but at least I am aware of what is going on around me. Dr. Coppel has treated me like a person not a file. He is warm, engaging, comforting, honest, trustworthy, competent and over all wonderful. He has forever changed my life. I cannot say enough about him. His staff are happy and make me feel welcome. I can’t thank him enough.
