Dr. Henson became my OB/GYN 18 years ago! I was 19 years old, a college student, single and pregnant. Dr. Henson treated me with dignity and respect, even though I felt very ashamed in my situation. I gave birth to a happy, healthy, baby boy in 1994. I have since married, and have another son! In 2008, Dr. Henson removed my right ovary, as it was full of a cyst. That same respect, kindness, and smiling face was there to inform me, calm me, and walk me through this phase of my life. Now, in 2011, I am facing a hysterectomy, at 36 years old. I have battled terrible periods, and he hears me! I have never felt that I could not openly discuss my fears, questions, and any concerns with Dr. Henson. I will never, ever forget his kindness to me, and will always recommend him. He has a very sweet, kind disposition and knowing what a great father he is to his beautiful girls is also a bonus-he certainly knows women! Cheerful, comforting, empathetic, friendly, trustworthy, experienced-all rolled into one!
