Unbelievable OBGYN!!!! I know him as a patient and a friend. Amazing man all around. Will take the time to walk you through everything. Made me and my husband feel so comfortable and so knowledgeable about what we were going through. Answered all of our questions, silly ones included and encouraged us to do so.

Dr. Schmitz is the best OBGYN in NWA Arkansas. He is so competent and treats his patients like gold. He has only been here 5 years but is becoming the go-to-guy in the area. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is considering having a baby or needing GYN help. He has delivered my two boys and also saw me through some complications last yr with GYN issues. He is amazing.

Dr. Schmitz is an amazing doctor!! I received a diagnoses that meant I would have to have a hysterectomy. Upon mine & my husbands first visit to discuss options, Dr. Schmitz was very open about all options. He not only talked to me, his patient, but spoke with my husband. He treated US as a couple and not just another person in the clinic.
He performed 2 surgeries on me, the first being a D & C. While discussing this procedure, he could see that I was totally terrified. He didn't have to, but he took the time to reassure me & comfort me. When the results were back & he called me, once again, his compassion poured through the phone. Then during my pre-op visit with him, we discussed every aspect of the hysterectomy surgery. He ENCOURAGED me to discuss "embarrassing" subjects with him, he didn't want me shocked by any of the after effects.
Dr. Schmitz is the first & only ob/gyn I will ever see!! The day of my surgery, he came in with the most sincere heart & so full of understanding & compassion! Later in the day, after the surgery, he came to my room to check on me. I know most doctors don't see you again until your post-op visit.
Dr. Schmitz has a deeply true, genuine, heart felt compassion for what he does, makes you feel comfortable, encourages you to ask LOTS of questions & LISTENS!! I have recommended him to several ladies & will continue to do so.
