Although I have only been Dr. Mitchell's patient a short while, I can honestly say that I'm very impressed by this wonderful man! Having a terrible family hx of fibroids/cysts/hysterectomies, I thought, at 46, I was past the age where I needed to be concerned. Every female in my family has had a hysterectomy by the time they were 40.
After suffering through an unbelieveable 4 months with pain, bleeding, anemia, dizziness, I've finally seen a physician who takes my family hx and symptoms seriously.
Everytime I have seen Dr. Mitchell, he has been very professional, caring and wonderfully compassionate. He will REALLY listen to everything you have to say, and any questions you may have. We discussed different options, and ultimate decided for the total abdominal hysterectomy. As I have many, many allergies/sensitivities, it wasn't an easy decision. I am totally confident that I am quite well taken care of. Dr. Mitchell, I truly believe is a wonderful human being, and an amazingly talented and compassionate physician!
