Dr. Stephen Hill and the entire staff of Asheville Women's Medical Center have been amazing! I went there after too many years not getting myself checked out, and they were always kind and welcoming. Never made me feel guilty for neglecting my own body. Just wanted to fix me.
I never have to wait long to be seen. Since December when I was diagnosed with fibroids and needing a hysterectomy, I've been in there A LOT! I was never scared to go. I had several blood draws and biopsies before having my full abdominal hysterectomy at Mission Hospital. My doctor almost immediately became my favorite person. Much like a caring family member. I will miss him sorely. He is retiring from the practice to be Chief Medical officer at Mission Hospital, but has been slowly introducing Dr. Jon Larrabee to take his place. He assisted in my surgery and did all of my follow up hospital care. I fell in love with him immediately! There are many other doctors at this practice, so I'd say take your pick and you'll be satisfied!
