I originally came to Dr. Ellen Parrill because I was seeking a another opinion regarding the extensive menstrual periods, pain, and pressure I was having due to a benign fibroid in my uterus. She was more attentive to my complaints and more thorough in examining my ultrasound results (as well as other test results) than the doctors who had ordered them. Because of her experience, knowledge, and attitude of caring for her patients, I felt much more comfortable having her do the procedure she suggested: a daVinci (robot-assisted) total hysterectomy (without removal of ovaries). Because of her skill with this surgery, I am back to my physically-demanding job and feeling great after only four weeks! Although healing time can vary from one patient to the next, the skill of the surgeon has to be top-notch to obtain the kind of results I have. She answers my questions and has made sure I understand her instructions at every step of the way. Dr. Parrill's skill, knowledge, and attentiveness to detail, as well as her comforting and trustworthy character, are reasons why I would recommend her to anyone needing this type of surgery.

Dr. Parrill is friendly, caring, as well as knowledgable and competent in the area of endometriosis. She was the FIRST doctor (out of many) who took time to listen to my symptoms, recommend procedures to identify the problem, and to recommend treatment. Dr. Parrill performed the surgery for my hysterectomy and continues to monitor my health and well-being. I would recommend her to anyone who is diagnosed or thinks that they might have endometriosis.
