In 1999 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. After much prayer I chose Dr. Saul. Because of his skill, care, and encouragement I am going to be celebrating 20 years cancer free on the day before Thanksgiving. I would only hope that if my daughter needed a doctor it could be Dr. Patton Saul.

Dr. Saul is one of the most kind, understanding and thoughtful doctors I have EVER had the opportunity to meet. I was faced with ovarian cancer in 2003. I had never been in the hospital before, other than having my son in 1989, and had no idea what was happening to my body. After my regular OBGYN transferred me to Dr. Saul I felt left out in the cold. I asked my doctor why he was not going to treat me and his reply was, "Dr. Saul is a specialist in this field and he is the best at what he does. I care about my patients and only reccomend them to someone worthy to take care of them And Dr. Saul definately is."
In Dr. Sauls office I was nervous and scared. This gentleman took my hand and told me that he had experience with situations similar to mine and that from his personal oppinion I was going to be fine. From that moment on, he was very patient and kind to me. He explained everything that was going to happen to me in detail. And anything I did not understand he went over again and again until I did understand. I have never had a doctor that made me feel so comfortable and went out of his way to make me feel as though I was his only patient. The day of my surgery came and I met other doctors and nurses that spoke very highly of Dr. Saul. They all loved him because he treats his collegues the same as his patients. With respect and kindness.
God truely blessed the Roanoke Valley with a wonderful Doctor. I cannot say enough about this gentleman and would reccomend him to any woman with a need for a Gynecological oncologist.
