Dr. Cook is a wonderful Doctor. He is very patient when answering questions. Before my surgery, he took the time to go through my lists of questions with me, and suggested some other things I would want to know. He was concerned about my comfort in that situation, and instead of just answering them in the exam room, he waited until I was dressed and we could sit and talk. When I was concerned after the surgery that I had overreacted to an issue with the incision, he made sure that I knew that I should call any time there was a concern which was comforting. He is very personable, and asks about family etc, to get an idea about the whole patient. I just can't say enough good things about him. He is a skilled surgeon as well as OB doctor. Other doctors in the practice with Dr Cook are also excellent. The Dr Green who assisted Dr Cook also came in to check on me each day of my hospital stay, and and introduced himself as the Dr who had assisted. Murray Women's Clinic is an excellent facility and has a wonderful reputation in this area.
My only suggestion is that sometimes because of the number of patients and quality of care, it is hard to get an appointment. I now make my appointments from one visit to the next which is very helpful. The office staff there is also exceptional in their jobs, from the receptionist to the staff who take care of insurance etc. His nurses are caring and discreet.
