Dr. Dement delivered my daughter 24 years ago. I saw him in the late 1990's for infertility and he performed my hysterectomy in 2007. I now see his Nurse Practitioner, Joyce Clement, for my gynecological exams and am extremely happy with both she and Dr. Dement. He is a great doctor, very willing to sit and discuss anything. He was great to take my phone calls with questions (even one on the evening before my hysterectomy when he wasn't even the on-call doctor) and I feel he is very competent. His Nurse Practitioner, Joyce, is wonderful and very easy to talk to. My daughter also loves her and drives all the way from St. Louis for her appointments. I highly recommend them both.

Dr. Dement is one of the most kind and caring physicians I have ever known and worked with. I seen him for several issues and each time he has been wonderful, had patience for me and my husband. He was meticulious to ensure all of my pre-op health issues were addressed prior to surgery. He was able to see "all of me" and not just my reproductive organs.
He spends time with his patients both in the office and the hospital. His professionalism is evident in everything he does. He responds quickly to patient problems or questions. He is very careful to make sure his patients understand and feel comfortable in his care. All of his staff is excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a gynecologist. He does not practice obstetrics any longer.
