Dr. Solnick performed my myomectomy in July 2011 and the care I received was nothing less than remarkable. Within minutes of meeting him, I knew that I had found the right surgeon. He is very down to earth and took his time to explain my options; even options he could not perform. I never felt pressured like I did with other doctors. He even told me I could change my mind minutes before the surgery (I was very nervous).

After my surgery, he was there to answer any questions I had; returning my phone calls within minutes at times. Dr. Solnick is everything you want in a surgeon. He is probably the most competant doctor I have encountered since moving to the west coast. If you are considering surgery, or your current physician is not telling you what you want to hear, please consider Dr. Solnick. He is awesome!

Dr Solnik is a stellar surgeon, from start to finish. He is kind, charming, extremely knowledgeable and very skilled at what he does. He removed my 10cm subserosal fibroid through laparoscopic myomectomy. The surgery was 2.5 hours and I went to dinner at a restaurant afterwards and had a 4-course meal. Not once did I feel sick, bad or otherwise inconvenienced by his surgery. I didn't even have shoulder pain from the insufflation. He also removed an endometrial plug he found in the cul-de-sac of my uterus - what doctor does that - he looked around while he was in there and "cleaned up!" I would trust this man with my life - literally. If you have any fibroid problem - go see him. He will be honest. Also, he's on the faculty at Cedars-Sinai, so he won't charge you zillions like some other private surgeons will do. HE IS THE BEST!

I cannot say enough about this man. He is one of the best doctors that I have had the pleasure to work with. He is professional and very knowledgeable. His exams were quite gentle. He always outlined my options so I could make an informed decision about the direction of my care. He also collaborated with his colleagues to find the best options and treatments for my situation; I appreciate his willingness to do that. He was sympathetic to my situation. After my horrible experience in the Lancaster AV Hospital he was the hope I needed to overcome the tragedy I had to suffer. I am glad that my problem has been fixed, but I also feel sad as we come to the end of my treatment. I do not think he will ever realize the hope and peace he brought to both my husband and myself.

He is just GREAT!!!!! Very kind, patient and VERY knowledgeable. I recommend any woman to him.

I have been seeing Dr. Solnik for some time now. I came to him as a last resort after many years of battling many reproductive diseases. I was told by other surgeons who were too scared of the state of my insides to operate on me that he was the person who was the most talented, intelligent and up-to-date on new techniques who could handle my case.

I came to see him with all of my records and he sat with me and listened to me, to my story, my experiences, my feelings about what had been result of the medicines, etc.

And, he was kind and honest and thorough. He performed a long, intense and invasive surgery, removing many things, leaving me as least scarred as possible and making sure to stop by late that night, even though he was tired and late for a meeting.

He made sure to convey to me at my follow-ups that, even if he can't help with it, he always wants to know what is going on with me and that, if he can, he will help me. And, to never hesitate to schedule and to always keep in touch.

When he doesn't know...if it's the HRT or the other medicines, or if it's me or w/e else, then he tells me that and tells me that he will do some research and get back to me because, at my age I'm his exception and not his rule...he always does - the research and gets back to me.

In a society that treats anyone with an M.D. after their name with a God Complex, as if they can make no mistakes and know all about us and our health/meds/etc, even if they don't listen to us or schedule only five minute consults, it is so refreshing to see a doctor who will tell me that he doesn't know and listen to all of my facts and thoughts and feelings and find out all of the information and try to find the best possible option 'for me' and then actually call me back 'himself', not his nurse or his assistant...

he's a great doctor. More than great. He's competent, has a great manner, a great surgeon, well versed in current treatments in techniques, personally cares about who I am and what is happening to me - even if it's not listed on the box.

I'm still having a hard time recovering from my hysterectomy in some ways, but my scars are minimal and my adhesions are growing back slowly, which is great from the surgeon!
