Dr. Hale replaced my right hip in 1985. When I first met him, I thought he was a little gruff. His bed side manor wasn't real gentle. But he is a gifted, skilled surgeon and he does surgery like a fine tuned mechanic. I recovered quickly with great success. I had to have my left hip replaced by another orthopedist. Dr. M. Shaw, M.D. I did not like that Dr. and the hip replacement did not come out well at all. I also got drop foot from that surgery. In 1994, I had to have a right hip revision because my hip had worn out after 19 years. I went back to Dr. Hale. Again, he did a great job. It was very successful. I will be going back to see him again soon. He is a very skilled doctor.
