I went to see Dr. Okie after suffering for months with bleeding issues. I didn't feel like a number nor did I feel rushed. He didn't give me the answer I'd been getting from my previous doctor. He spent as much time as needed with me. He didn't just say that this is what you needed. He let me make the ultimate decision and when to have it done (provided it could done that day - surgery schedule).

He was always cheerful and friendly even after he'd been at the hospital for more hours than he cared to be. He's the best!

I ended up with a hysterectomy. I was welcomed with a phone call the day after I was dismissed from the hospital to see how I was feeling/getting along. It was such a welcome but pleasant surprised. I'd never had a doctor call me at home to see how I was.

After a year of having problems and being ignored I found Dr. Okie and the first thing he asked me was what I wanted done not what he had in mind.
