Dr. Pearson is awesome! He is very compassionate but at the same time straight forward. He takes time to answer every question and to thoroughly explain every step. I have never felt like he was rushing to get on the the next patient. From the first time that I met with him I had complete trust and knew that he was the doctor for me. When I received my pathology diagnosing ovarian cancer he was quick to point out the good things in the report, encouraging me to stay positive and look to the future.

Dr. Pearson is extremely kind. In office visits he always takes time to explain the details as well as taking the time to listen to my concerns and questions. He is compassionate. The office staff is very busy, but they are all very nice people and efficient in their work. It is serious business when one has to see a gynecological oncologist, but Dr. Pearson's empathetic warmth and reassuring character make it almost a pleasure.

Dr. Pearson is very knowledgable and professional. He took time to answer all my questions throughly, treated my kindly, and made me feel safe in his care.

I was a patient of Dr. Pearson in 2005 and 2006. He was the best doctor that I have ever had. His compassion and professionalism are awesome. He removed a cyst and an ovary, fortunately I did not have cancer. But at the lowest point in my life, when another doctor had told me point blank that I had cancer and had three months to live (without previous testing), Dr. Pearson told me not to worry about it and take things one step at a time. He answered all my questions and I couldn't possibly ask for a better surgeon. After the first surgery he was very reassuring when he spoke to my family and his bedside manners with me couldn't be better. I give Dr. Pearson the highest possible recommendations. He is professional, trustworthy, kind, funny and all around wonderful.

I recommend Dr. Matt Pearson for anyone with gynocolgy-oncology issues. The man is so real--very competent and compassionate. I must have asked a few hundred questions prior to the DaVinci Robotic surgery for endometrial cancer. He professionally answered each question. My operation was a radical hysterectomy (everything was removed). I have been back to the clinic twice and everything is fine. I am so fortunate not to need chemotherapy. I would recommend this doctor to anyone who wants to be in the hands of the BEST.
p.s. Dr Matt loves animals (has a dog), wears cowboy boots and a big smile. If you have to go through a bad medical situation you will be fortunate to have him lead the team to victory!

I am Dr. Pearson's patient, and am seing him for follow-up after surgery for cancer of the Vulvam, and removal of groin lymph nodes was done in California. He is extremely thorough, and takes the time to explain everything, unlike many other surgeons.

Dr. Matt Pearson is a gem. Having gone through diagnosis of cervical cancer, Dr Pearson performed a radical ROBOTIC Hysterectomy within one week of seeing me the first time. His staff is top notch, they are so professional and are very caring. The whole system at the Univeristy of Miami is just wonderful. I had more than 1/2 a dozen doctors and hospitals in my area that performed the same surgery but took the one hour drive to U of M to work with what I consider the best instead of staying close to home. You will just feel comfortable with him. He is a great Doctor. :)
